SWSBO (She Who Shall Be Obeyed) finally retired, her last work day was Sunday. So it's time to start enjoying our joint retirement/golden years. More like rust, if you ask me.

So, I just booked October 24th at Moab. We're driving ours up (cheaper than a fly-in, and offers the opportunity for stops along the way like Four Corners, which SWSBO's never seen), but using theirs for the event. Not worried about dings, just don't want to pay them $495 for the privilege of driving my own ride.

Going to break it into a couple days each way; staying at the La Posada in Winslow on the way up (the last great Harvey hotel built), and either Flag or Sedona on the way back to the Valley.

If we enjoy it enough, we may book Tennessee just because sometime next year.

I'm signed up for Sept 12th in Moab. I don't know if you saw, but they have replaced their Badlands vehicles with the 2025 BL Sasquatch vehicles, so we will get to play on vehicles just like ours. That will be nice! I am looking forward to it. Congrats on the entire family now being retired. Enjoy :)

Good to know. I would've gotten all old man cranky if they couldn't match mine. ;)

Lucky for you!! I would have loved to go to Moab. Instead, I had to settle for weaving through the trees on the muddy mountain trails of NH's Lakes Region.

Last pic is owners' rides. Mine is the farthest Rapid Red

I settled on Moab because it's topographically closest to what we'll normally see in AZ (and also only 8 driving hours away). I'd love to do all the locations ultimately.

JK, I suggest a stop in Monument Valley if you haven't already been there.

A stunning part of the country.

It’s on the “maybe” list for this trip. Trying to avoid too much backtracking or exceptionally out of the way side quests.

Got all the bookings done, planning a circuitous route around with RONs in Winslow, Moab, Page, and Prescott. Stops along the way as they happen, but Monument Valley, Lake Powell, and Hassayampa River Preserve are along our route so kinda already in the mix. We'll hit others as time & interest permit.

All in, 1250-ish miles, 5 nights.

You are pretty much guaranteed an amazing time at any of the sites. I had such a great experience at the NH Off-Roadeo. The guides were phenomenal and the terrain was quite a surprise and a bit jaw-dropping.

Those who underestimate or dismiss the abilities of the Bronco Sport simply have no clue.

Lucky guys/gals!

I'm thinking of using mine sometime around my birthday (March 21st) next year. Does anyone know when they open up reservations for the next season? Whenever I look into March, April of next year it shows no availability.
