Side Door Cup Holder Issue – Any Fixes?

Hey everyone,

I’ve noticed the side door cup holders in my Bronco Sport aren’t very functional—standard water bottles tend to tip or fall out, other drink types don't fit well.

I've searched high and low for a fix but haven’t found anything solid.

Anyone out there figured out a clever solution? I know this group has some creative minds—would love to hear your thoughts!

Even if you place the bottle in gently, the slightest bump sends it tipping over and spilling water everywhere.

Everyone that rides in my passenger seat, brings water bottles…

Clever solution… apparently you’ll need to make bicycling friends that carry bike water bottles ?
Apparently, the person who designed it either only has friends who ride bicycles or has never taken a road trip longer than an hour—because heaven forbid a passenger brings more than one drink.

Providing a bicycle water bottle is better for the environment than single use bottles but I wouldn’t drink from someone else’s bottle … have no idea where it’s been. But that’s just me. ?‍⚕

Perhaps something like this would fit and stay put with the single use water bottle you pictured earlier … might not be the exact size needed for the door cup holders but provides the general idea

Comes in various colors for your friends …

Your other option is to keep a beer can koozie in the door. Put the water bottle in the koozie and it should fit in the door slot just fine.
What a smart and inventive approach—thank you for the great idea!

Yeah, this is why we all hate @Mark S. He's always has to show off his intelligence and solve everyone’s problems.
So.
Fucking.
Annoying! :giggle:;)
