1.25 hrg lift pretty straight forward install my daughter and I knocked it out in 3ish hours in the garage
Toyo at3 Lt 245/70/17 no wheel spacers
Aero skin bug deflector and bronco door sill guards installed today
Ceramic tint including windshield
It just got its first bath today owned it ruffly five weeks just thought I’d contribute since I’ve been lurking these forums

Thanks she’s been enjoying the heck out of it her 2017 explorer platinum was approaching the 100k mark so she went snooping around at the new ones and didn’t care for the new body style vs her 2017 anyhow she spotted this badlands I asked her how it drove she said I didn’t drive it because it didn’t have a sunroof I just laughed anyhow she took it home for show and tell and we purchased it the following day

Congratulations.

My wife ordered her BL without the sunroof. I ordered my FE without the panoramic roof. Didn't want something we never used on our previous Escapes. It's a $1,600 option on the Escape.

Looks great. I’m surprised it has a black roof being Carbonized Grey. I’m thinking they just flip a coin. Black or grey……Heads…. Black it is.

Nice! We have a 2015 explorer sport, and when I am driving the BL, the overall feel of cockpit feels fairly similar. My wife says I’m crazy, so maybe I’m the only one… But if I’m in the driver’s seat, the space, accessibility of various controls, roominess, etc. feel quite similar to the explorer.

So that lift works well with the Badlands. That’s good news. Keep me posted how the lift affects the cornering. I was hoping for a bit better handling and body roll from my stock Badlands. However my previous F150 had a Roush suspension kit in it and it was fantastic. So my expectations may have been high. Your Badlands looks great.

Nice ride! Same as mine but I don't have the lift but I do have the sunroof. Mine is loaded too. I have the carbonized grey as well. One thing I haven't been able to figure out is why my rooftop is painted carbonized grey too? All the other carbonized grey Badlands I have seen have the black rooftop. Can some tell why this is?

I was hoping for a bit better handling and body roll from my stock Badlands. However my previous F150 had a Roush suspension kit in it and it was fantastic.

Engineering is the business of tradeoffs. This is the TANSTAAFL rule in action. Good road handling typically requires a stiffer, shorter suspension. Off-road you want a softer, longer suspension. The Badlands offers a compromise. You're not gonna win any races (on- or off-road) with it, but it's a competent/comfortable daily driver AND it offers significantly better off-road capability than its market competitors.
