Yep. You're new to this club. Tons of us have done the same for the same reasons. I recommend new bronco sport owners to hyperdip their white badges rather than plastidip. Higher quality, better finish, longer lasting. Can get it at dipyourcar.com

I should change my ass end to read, ‘Escape on Steroids’, or
‘Not a Bronco’ or ‘Sport Ute’
Kidding
Personally if I was so inclined to make mods I’d clean it all off the back and have just one black Bronco horse and a murdered out FORD emblem. But that’s just me :’D

You mean like my response to you HERE.
How about a heat gun and patiently apply pressure under an edge until it slowly starts to ligt away. I have used this method every time. No floss needed. And very little residue left to remove.

Jury still out on this. When my Outer Banks arrives, it will be white letters on Cactus gray. That won't show up at all. I'm going with black overlays to enhance the look. At that point I'll decide about the rear sport emblem.

If you are confident with a heat gun, that is a good way to do it. Some will just park it in the sun. Now that summer is coming to an end for some of us, that may not be a great option. For most people I would recommend the floss method or a hair dryer instead of a heat gun. Less chance of causing real damage.

If there is any residue left after removing the badges/logos, I recommend 3M Adhesive remover and possibly a plastic razor blade. The adhesive remover has proven useful around the garage for other things with adhesive on them. A primary use for me is when getting new tires and the wheels are rebalanced and they strip the wheel weights off but leave behind the adhesive. It looks horrible and is very hard to remove, unless you use the 3M stuff, then it comes right off.

I had a 5 liter Mercury Capri back in the 80's (same car as a Mustang back then - Fox body) - it said "CAPRI" on the front of the nose with little chrome letters. I re-arranged them to say "CRAPI".
Can't think of anything fun to do with "SPORT" though...

I dunno. I read through all the comments.
When we had a Bronco II we did not tear off the II. It was a Bronco II, not A Bronco.

When some dunderheads do a smash and grab on your back window then drag your suitcase through that small opening scratching the paint in the process you have the option of removing SPORT after the repaint. A few parts still on backorder to replace the wiper mechanism.

I’m not really interested in entirely removing the “SPORT”, but after learning that Ford originally wanted to call it the “Bronco Scout” I have been tempted to swap the P and R for a C and U.

I bought mine because it reminded me of my 2005 Escape and I loved that car. I decided to enhance the letters my way because that’s what I wanted. In the end it’s all about making it unique for you.

It’s a great replacement for the older Escapes!
