I have had the same thing happen. Car off, in park, brake on, doors closed. Then open to get out. Two beeps.

On a recent trip from Port Canaveral to Orlando I got 38 mpg. Miami to Orlando about 35. Those are the exception as most of my driving is local and I try to avoid I4 (by Disney World). My day to day is around 28.

I had a discussion with my old Ford dealer over a scheduled service on my Explorer. The dealer had a huge, expensive list of things. I pointed out the list recommended by Ford. He said we think… I stopped him and said I’ll go with what Ford thinks. He didn’t have an answer for that.

There is what appears to be a sensor in the middle of the dashboard by the windshield. Everything I can find says sensors and cameras are either mounted in the grill or up by the rear view mirror. Can someone tell me what it is?
