Welp, learned not to hit the delete button on a post
So, here it goes again
Today I spent time on the bottom side of the BS
Might as well while I'm flat on my back doing nerf bars
Pop the rocker panel trim tabs
Insert Wool Wax catheter
Wet'er down good
PB Blaster Surface Shield saved for the more exposed to the elements sections
The hood struts went in effortlessly
Former use with struts on tool box lids always had one bad feature
May have changed over the years for the better though
Seems the retainer clips on the ball/socket connection would rust and fail
Made sure to give a generous helping of white grease in the socket

Installed the EGR hood deflector. WTF is it with the teeny plastic screw anchors that won't stay in the holes in the bottom of the hood by themselves?

Dang not cool, screwing into the hood sounds intimidating. Looks good against the paint color. Any profile pics? Bar looks nice too, any lights or anything coming? Does the bar interfere with front license plate?

I replaced the pathetic carpet mats with the LIDAR scanned, perfect fit ones from WeatherTech. Here are some photos. It you have something that goes behind the pedals like this then I would like to see it. I say nothing is even close.

I put on the seat jacker kit from Desert Does It. Really made a big diff in my driver seat, I feel like I'm planted in a bucket seat now not sitting on a leaning forward bench. I did the f150 kit which sits higher with three plates. Super easy install and great quality product.
