I'm looking to black out my badlands and take off the white lettering on the back. How did you remove the "sport"? thanks!
Grab some fishing line or dental floss (floss breaks easy) run it behind the letter in a saw like motion. Your choice of glue remover for the residue. It is even easier if you have a heat gun or a really hot day it's been sitting in the sun.

With some warm weather starting I was finally able to add an engine cover to hide some of the unsightly wiring and tubing. Pretty easy install. Now if I can only get my hands on a hood insulator pad! Also installed the low profile Ford window visors.

I went for it in the spare, gave me more space for a bigger tank to run pneumatic tools too.
I considered going that route but wanted to keep the leads from the battery as short as possible. I might still go that route down the road because I'm not a fan of the engine bay heat. We shall see...

HF Ham Radio antenna, Hustler mobile series using Diamond K400 UHF mount with Comet 3/8" adapter; much stronger than just a 3/8" stud mount. *****Caution: The bottom lip to this mount must be bent away, or cut-off. It will scratch your bumper, or if side mounted, may break your tail light! See picture, at first I tried to cut it but then simply bent it out of the way.**** Also, consider a spring on the mount for strain relief on the tail gate lip. Hustler quick disconnect. Works great! SWRs less than 1.5:1 on 10, 15, 17 and 20 meters. Using an IC-705 on the front seat, powered to 12v accessory port.
