Thanks, looks like rotor wear. Seems like a serious issue. If it wasn’t squealing, that rotor is soft and your pads are literally machining it down.

How is it stopping? Pulling? Is the other side similar?
Stops great so far. And this is the only one doing it. But it only has 200 miles so we’ll see. Gonna call the dealer I just wanted to bring attention to it for everybody. Brake rotors tend to be something that gets overlooked when you get a nice shiny new toy. If it’s only mine great! Better that than it being a major part issue.

Thanks for bringing it up and the additional information. Let us know the outcome.

Had to change the thread title. Cuz ima dummy. Dealer popped the wheel off and with some elbow grease, brake cleaner and a rag got the residue off. Apparently it was grease from the brake pad install that got smeared and subsequently burned onto the rotor. Glad that’s all it was but feel stupid for not trying just a little harder to get it off. Oh well, got to chat with some of you nice folks in the process ?

Makes sense since your were not experiencing any braking noise or difficulties.

Yup. And it was never gonna clear itself. That grease is designed to stick around a while

That's good to know, I haven't heard felt or seen anything but I've noticed in my garage a faint burnt smell after driving for a bit, imma take a closer look at mine

Any other pictures? Looks too good to be a rock causing it. Looks to be machined that way to me.

Most rotors are ground, that looks machined. Any noise while driving?
It looks machines see how there's no marks in the groove
