Time to walk. Dealerships in some areas are having a field day with buyers willing to put up with all kinds of crazy shit just to buy a new car. The primary reason is because they know buyers are not willing to walk out the door when they're offered a bad deal. That's negotiation 101: Always be willing to walk.So basically they told me that sometimes the financing from outside takes too long or the money doesn't come through. So it's easier to use FMC. A bunch of BS. They offered 2.5k over sticker price, I told them I'm better off just ordering and using X-plan with another dealership. They offered 2k over sticker and take off all the add ons which saves another 500 ??
My advice is to shop around online in other regions of the country. There is a dealership in Iowa that's offering new orders at 6% below MSRP. Th difference between what the dealership that's trying to screw you and 6% below MSRP is far more than travel expenses to Iowa.
