Batch #2402/#1166 et al. - BSs Stuck in Production

I guess I am right there with you! I order my2021 BS BB (only add-on was Class II Trailer Tow Pkg) on 8/21 received confirmation email within 30 min and that was the last email. Tracker still shows in Production 11/9 (Hermosillo plant) however I did see that the sticker was available as of 10/26. Est Delivery went from 12/4 to 12/22 and now 1/12/2022. It has not been converted to a 2022 and all ETIS were last check 11/9/2021. In addition, the module build data has pages of codes. So, unless it's my accessories (rubber floor mats & cargo mgmt sys) delaying delivery this is crazy!

Yours is most likely on the stop ship for the brake lining recall. That affected BSs built through 11/11/21. Bronco Sports built through 11.11 that had not been shipped or delivered were placed on stop ship, parked and are awaiting the recall replacement brake lining.

Hmmm maybe that's a good sign, that they are just behind a bit on that group. That sounds a lot like my build

When checking on ETIS previously the only option that showed data before was PTI related Electronic Control Units Installed on this VIN and no data on the other drop downs. Well now I am seeing this in the first dropdown menu. I don't think I missed it before??

That appears to be the batch # for those of us stuck in production!

So if anyone else has been stuck “in production” this is our thread till they move on and out of the plant can post here!


I will start off:
Ordered 9/10
In Production week of 12/6
Produced Per Visibility Report on 12/10
No built or shipped notice. Still at factory

What about Rail Ramp? I'm RH27, I was reading in some other forums this occasionally led to the In Production purgatory, waiting for rail.

Sicker date changed, seems like that's all that changes. Went from 12/1 to 12/8 to 12/16 to 12/23.

Fear not. That is usually related to regions or where in the country it is going. RH27 is the rail ramp that get the cars to a lot of dealers in California. Are you in CA? Then again, CA could be called purgatory by some!!!

Mine is RA36 which heads to New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, etc

I'm aware, but had been reading about some other vehicles going into Production purgatory while waiting for Rail to be available. Was thinking maybe the same car cut up to Vegas and across to So Cal or something ?
