So I desperately wanted a garage door opener in my 21 Bronco Sport but didn't want to resort to a clunky transmitter stuffed somewhere so I bit the bullet and purchased a sun visor from a 21 Escape Titanium.

Success! The plug is a 100% match. Color is a 100% match. Functionality is a 100% match. The only issue that some may see is that when you put it to the left of your head to block out the sun coming from the drivers window it does not pull out as far as the Bronco one does. It is a good 4-5 inches shorter that way but does not bother me as I never use it like that.

Caveat: a bit pricey at $290 and for most people not worth it, but I was willing to pay it to have a 100% OEM look. Part number is LJ6Z-7804105-CB.

P.S. Sorry for the crappy pic but you get the idea.

Glad someone finally proved the concept. Watch junkyards or wait for '22 Sport parts to get on the Ford system and you can get a matching visor. $300 is a shocking price for sure.

Thanks for the post and part number, I was thinking if a Escape visor would work or not.

Yeah. $300 is stupid for most people but I wanted that factory look.

Absolutely. The only other difference I saw was the mount (which is 100% hidden) is black on BS but beige on Escape. Not enough to lose sleep over.

Also, I asked my dealership and they said it'll be a while before MY22 parts show up on their system.

I'm glad it works for you, but I'll keep my $10 remote in the center console and spend $280 on something else. And I actually use the visor more on the side than I do towards the front. To each their own.
Indeed. Sleep easy, then.

Did you have to pull head liner down to connect the wire?

Nope. Once the torx screw was loosened, a quick, gentle tug, and the connector came out of the headliner.
Ppl have been complaining about no built in garage door opener like forever. And you are the first one I have seen that has actually added this feature. Thanks for sharing. Once the '22 visor is available the upgrade will be even better.
