I know the Badlands has some skid plates up front, but does it also have a different type of material for the underbody shield near the canister? Is the Badlands the only one that doesn't use a fabric shield under there?
Be sure to post what you hear from your dealer. It would be interesting to know what they have to say about this and if they plan on doing anything. I can't imagine the sudden gear shifting back and forth is healthy for the transmission.
The Yakima Off Grid medium will fit great. I almost bought that basket, but found a gently used Thule Canyon for half the price and went with that instead.
That thing roll 20 to 30 ft down a hill, retained its shape for the most part, and started on the first try. Found On Road Dead does not apply to this vehicle.
If you are just waiting for a call and haven't reached out to your dealer yet, you should. I had ordered through the dealer and waited about a month before finally going in to ask about my accessories. The items I ordered arrived two weeks earlier and they decided not to notify me.
The rear license plate should just screw directly in with two screws. That's how mine is anyways. I believe the bracket you are mentioning is for the front bumper.
