I agree there is a difference but if say it happens to be a bad alternator...it happens. FCA/STELANTIS ETC had an entire line of alternators go bad. Recalled some 10K vehicles...this so far is one sucky incident. Tell me anything you want...you buy a year one vehicle it is bound to have lingering things pop up. This is not a rebadged escape. And they log thousands of miles at Michigan speedway putting them through the paces (one site, they may use others I've just been there when they do. One car after another laps ad nauseum. It's still not the same as your daily drive). Recalls happen across the industry with long lineage cars. Should this happen? No...does it? Yep. Some of y'all may wanna consider Amish horse and buggy.
I did try the Amish thing. With in two Bales of hay, my hand whip bent and was unusable, and my all hoof drive unit, thru a shoe...they just don't make em like they used to!!

Absolutely agree and most just post "hey I'm so upset because" and others "can't believe this happens." But it seems a few like to Ford bash. Fine...then this isn't likely a good place to "vent" loathing a Ford vehicle. Maybe I'm the sensitive one...maybe I'm too optimistic or realistic for some. I'm not here to find fault or issue, but there's a point where a vehicle goes wrong. Sorry if anyone is offended, I just don't see the point coming on a Ford forum trashing on ford. If it's a huge issue GO to FORD...tell them about the issue. Note it here so others may know hey my bronco did the same thing. But it's a new vehicle, sometimes the supplier is to blame, sometimes you just get a bad vehicle and Ford needs to make that right.
For sure going to ford. Not trying to bash, who could relate and empathize more then other owners who are equally as stoked with they’re new broncos? It’s nice to hear you guys say slow down, its ok, and list your reasons to be rational.

Chinese worker gets out of bed and goes to work just like we do. He makes little electronic components that go into Fords of all kinds.
He makes hundreds per shift.
1 in 1000 go bad on the first start up.
2 in 1000 go bad after 25 hours of run time.
3 go after 100 hours of power up.
,
And we blame Ford.
Really?
I dunno about you all but I got a warranty and if my Bronco Sport fails my Dealer has nothing but drool worthy loaners waiting for me.
I'll pick something nice and not give it back till I get my baby Bronc back..
As far as breaking down some where other than my driveway or even way out in Rattlesnake country.
My forefathers bled for this nation in combat.
Me worry about snakes? I don't think so.
I'll take it as an adventure and dig in.
I don't want to wind up old in a nursing home but IF I do I will have great stories to tell.
If I ever get on a Forum and piss and moan I'll leave said forum..
Man up people, it's just a machine and they break....
OP, that sucked. Trust Ford and get a cool rental.

Blame is thrown around a lot. No need to blame anyone, just work through the issue I say. And keep us all updated. Generally whoever takes my money is who I take it to, Ford in this case. Hopefully dealer will make it right.

For sure. I’ll repost to all with news. Love this thing still. Just had another compliment on it at the gas station.

Personally I am not even talking tough love, you should be frustrated when things do go wrong, for what we pay it should be flawless but that's not real. Come here to share issues, but guys coming just to throw a tantrum doesn't solve a thing. That's not directed at you or anyone personally. I just dislike a whiney bitch-fest trashing on a company over unexpected issues. If every sport had the same issue, well...maybe there's a point.

If you get through to Ford, let me know the secret. I got stuck on hold (45 minutes on one call), passed around from person to person, and was promised several times I would be receiving a phone call in response to my issues and never did for my PCM issue. Over 5 hours on the phone over several days that I'll never get back. I'll bash Ford all day for a horrible customer service center that is designed to make you hang up. That said, my money is on the PCM with a bad seal just like mine. THE PCM DESIGN is BROKEN

I’ll take it further, I don’t really like any other cars on the road right now. Thats how badass i think these things are. Can’t wait to share the dealer experience info with everyone.

Any issues with yours so far?

I'd also strongly suggest anyone with this type of "catastrophic" issue to also contact Ford directly. A window chip is normal. A moonroof blowout is bad. Cars dying suddenly sounds like a bad alternator issue. Ironically my challenger had an alternator made in...Mexico. it was an easy fix. But sucked waiting on the part. There was a recall, I was in line waiting for a replacement. My car dying jumped me to the front of the line. I feel your pain. And agreed. These broncos are bad ass. I took a leap of faith.

Yeah that is me. I either get a BS or I am not buying anything. There isn't anything else out there I like at all.

I hope you have a good dealer take care of the issue and you get back to enjoying the new ride.

Same here!!! I will post my own post so this doesn't get lost.
What might be helpful is a thread to note problems. No banter, no jokes, nothing but problem is...yep Outer banks same issue. Yep badlands same issue. Yep I unhooked my battery and it reset, seems to be the trick. My drop windows , found a forum like this. They had a key on key off key on, depress and hold window down for 30 sec. Key off. Key on, window up hold for ten seconds. Key off, key on...window limits reset. Worked every time...until I had to reset the limits every time ?

So I finally got back to give the diagnosis. They charged the battery to 100%. No codes. No anything. Have put almost 2000 miles on since with zero issues. ??‍♂

For sure. Year one model, a ton of new things in these vehicles. Hopefully it's an easy adjustment. I've been there. Battled with a dealer until the warranty conveniently ran out then they suddenly had an idea...after a $3k repair estimate and playing the out of warranty card...I played the call a guy I know at world headquarters...issue resolved to my satisfaction. The dealer was notified, make it right, or we send a trailer down, break the vehicle down to the last bolt and vacuum test every piece on your dime...amazing how great they were after that

Not everyone "knows a guy at world headquarters" sometimes you just get the shaft.
