I just happened to have recently posted on another thread that I saw my DRL’s were on when my car was off, locked and parked. This is the second time that’s happened to me, but I do wonder if that’s due to driving for an extended period of time. There seems to be a cooling system for them on the Badlands. I am still curious though, let me know what you find out, thanks!
Actually noticed this tonight on my Big Bend. Had driven for about an hour straight. Clicked the lock on the fob, and noticed the DRL's were not going off. Tried to open the driver side door by hand, with fob in pocket, would not open. Clicked the unlock on the fob, door opened. Then I shut the door, clicked the lock button on the fob. DRL's went off. Then was able to open the driver side door by hand. Closed door, clicked the lock button on the fob, and DRL's went off. First time this has happened in the four weeks I have owned the vehicle.

My pre collision something or other alerts me on the infotainment screen on occasion, and in my phone app.
A small anoyance, I'll ask Ford next time I'm at the dealer..
Or just keep it turned off...
No biggie..
there 3 levels of sensitivity, which you probably already know

Israel, my name is jim from Pittsburgh pa, I have the twin of your ride ,what a blast to drive ,the color cactus gray I dont know I drove a outerbanks 2 mts ago it seemed it had more green in it .SO I PICK UP MY FIRST EDITION JUST THE OTHER DAY AND IT IS GRAY.I mean a absolutely nice shade of gray,I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised.I think what happened they used the cactus gray from the regular big bronco coming out sometime a month or so ago.mine was made 2/12- I always wanted a jeep but without that truck ride.Bronco is in my opinion a perfect match.Enjoy. (Thanks for your service) I did mine 1969/1973
First off, thank you sir for your service to our great nation as well. It’s an honor and my pleasure to speak to you.
I am anxious to get that first ride in my Bronco. I’ve seen several pictures of the interior of other people’s Navy Pier seats. Can you tell me if it’s a beep blue or light blue color? Most every picture shows it as a lighter shade of blue. The pictures on the Ford site shows a darker shade of blue. It’s good to hear that the cactus gray is a good choice. I’m hoping it’ll somewhat match my Indian Dark Horse which I intend to pull on a trailer with the Bronco.

This is because the camera in the windshield is obscured. When the glass is foggy or frosty that camera sends an alert to the computer that it can't see well enough, so it disables Pre-Collision Assist. In our Base models it's the only sensor. In models with Adaptive Cruise there is also a Radar Sensor in the front bumper that can send a similar warning.

The fix is to wipe the glass in front of the lens clean before you take off. The wipers will reach it, but I haven't yet had that work well enough to disable the alert, or rather perhaps I haven't driven far enough for the alert to reset.

Either way, unless you're banking on that stupid assisted braking all it does is obscure the dash screen.

By the way how many more wake ups to go?
I’m not totally sure right now due to my opposite quitting. I don’t have a replacement, so I’m just working overtime until we can find a person to take his position. Usually my rotation is 42 days and a wake up. I’ve been on since mid December.
Thats pretty amazing for these days. Some of us can use some pointers in keeping a marriage together. Cheers!

It’s good to know about the Navy Pier color. I’m reassured now by your description that it is what I hoped I was imagining. Are you going to make any modifications to the vehicle? I’m probably just going to do the ceramic coating, beefier type tires and a lift. Nothing too crazy! I just like the idea that I can climb over things in my path. I live in the south where hurricanes frequent. It’s good to be able to go over debris scattered across the road and truck through a bit of standing water. Lol
Btw, keep a look out for new lighted rubber boots in the footwear department. I’ll be manufacturing them some time late this year. They’re rain boots with led lights that shines the path. I invented them a while back and going to bring them to market soon. I need all the exposure I can get. Thanks Jr.

Years ago I had the choice of buying a new VW Rabbit from a brand new factory in PA or the same model imported from Germany $800 cheaper. The German one had bolted on doors, the PA car was spot welded. The German car had reclining seats, the PA version's were fixed, etc. Saved my self $800 and lots of problems down the road. The Broncos aren't a brand new factory so I really didn't have an issue with buying the first years model.

It is the only thing I dislike about the BS. It's crazy annoying.

It looks like a design flaw. The washer fluid tank can't fill 100%. The "spout" attaches too low.

I test drove a OB with Navy Pier interior. It's not quite a Navy Blue, but it's pretty dark and has almost a metallic look to it. Search You Tube for Bronco Sport First Edition test drive. There is a couple of videos that show the interior and it does look different from the Ford site photos..
