I don’t have kids, just a border collie that likes to hang his head out the window. Is there a way to over ride the safety stop on the rear windows. My BF’s f150 windows go all the way down and he loves it

It's not a safety stop AFAIK, just a physical limitation of the door. Most of my cars in the last 20 years were the same.

Take a look at your rear door, your glass cannot go through the wheel well. The physical reason the window doesn't go down all the way. It's not a safety stop

Normal due to the contour of the rear doors.
