Can I attach it to the windshield under the mirror/camera without causing an issue with any of the driver's aids?

My Ford accessories dashcam has been installed there for 1.5 years with no issues .

If you put it there the car will be fun but you’ll block your own view. Why not put up higher on the passenger side? Dash cams have a very wide view so it will capture everything.

I have mine in that exact location for 4 months and never even notice it. This gives you the field of view from the cam.
