Hi,

Does anyone know what the difference(s) are between the 2024 Badlands and the new 2025 Badlands w/the Sasquatch Package is, when it comes to their Rear Ends?

The Sasquatch Package is supposed to have a new Rear End, which includes a Locker, as well as having a Dual Clutch.

I just bought a new 2024 Badlands, but wanted the 2025 w/the Sasquatch Package, but cost savings prevailed w/the going w/the 2024 model w/the sales incentives and such.

Thanks!

The Bronco Sport Badlands and Bronco Sport Badlands Sasquatch both offer enhanced off-road capabilities, but the Sasquatch package takes it to the next level. The Sasquatch adds features like a twin-clutch rear differential, upgraded suspension components, and a more off-road-focused exterior.

Key Differences:
  • Suspension:
The Sasquatch package includes Bilstein rear dampers with remote reservoirs, upgraded springs for increased ride height, and additional suspension travel compared to the standard Badlands.

  • Differential:
The Sasquatch features a twin-clutch rear differential, while the standard Badlands has a more basic rear differential.

  • Off-Road Modes:
The Sasquatch adds Rally and Rock Crawl modes to the standard G.O.A.T. modes.

  • Tires:
The Sasquatch package comes with 29-inch all-terrain tires, while the standard Badlands has different tire sizes.

  • Exterior:
The Sasquatch package includes a front brush guard, steel bumpers, and more aggressive exterior design elements.

  • Underbody Protection:
The Sasquatch package adds more extensive underbody skid plates and bash plates.
In essence, the Bronco Sport Badlands Sasquatch is designed for the most serious off-roading enthusiasts, offering a more capable and robust off-road package compared to the standard Badlands trim.

Thanks.

I've already christened as you might say, my 2024 offroad on a general dirt road, playing around w/the settings and such.

I plan to go further offroad into the local back country, nothing aggressive of course.

Like I said, I was hoping to get the 2025 w/the Sasquatch Package, but w/the Ford Employee Package, some added other incentives for only the 2024 up to $2000, then the financing at only 3.9% vs. the 8.4 w/the 2025, I had to opt for the 2024.
Other than not having the Sasquatch Package, there's nothing wrong w/the 2024 Badlands that I bought. It's got the color I wanted, then it's got the smaller 8" Display on the dash vs. the "BIG" 13" on the 2025, which I don't like.
I'm happy w/my 2024 Badlands. ?

Does the 2024 have a rear locker, or is it simply a clutch style?

The Sasquatch Package is supposed to have a new Rear End, which includes a Locker, as well as having a Dual Clutch.
For clarity's sake, the twin-clutch is the locker and is standard equipment for 2024 and 2025 on the Badlands trim.

The Sasquatch package on the '25's adds:

Mechanical:
• HOSS 3.0 Off-Road Suspension
• Bilstein® Position Sensitive Dampers
• 850W Engine Cooling Fan

Exterior:
• Steel plated Rear Bumpers
• Brush Guard
• High Clearance Fender Flares
• Class II Trailer Tow Package with Trailer Sway Control & full-size spare
• Fender Tiedowns
• Recover hooks, (2) Front, (2) Rear
• 17” Ebony Black-painted Aluminum Wheels
• 235/65R17 All-Terrain (A/T) Tire

Interior:
• Aux Switches and Wiring
• Seats – Salt Crystal Inserts with Orchid Yellow Accents & Stitching

There's also upgrades to other suspension components that aren't generally listed in the marketing materials.

The Sasquatch features a twin-clutch rear differential, while the standard Badlands has a more basic rear differential. NO

The Sasquatch package comes with 29-inch all-terrain tires, while the standard Badlands has different tire sizes. NOT EXACTLY
Looks like you picked up some incorrect information, correct info is below:

‘21-‘24 Badlands
Twin-clutch 4x4 rear drive unit with electronically controlled on-demand torque delivery
- 4x4 Lock helps increase four-wheel drive performance by preventing the front and rear axles from disconnecting
- Rear Differential Lock feature takes advantage of the twin-clutch hardware to allow greater off-road performance, similar to a traditional mechanical locker

Regarding tires, the ‘21-‘24 Badlands could have been ordered with the optional Falken Wildpeak AT3w OEM tires:
Tire size 235/65R17
Overall diameter 29.1”

Can always trade up to a '25!
I just bought the 2024 Tuesday.
I had to rush over to the dealer due to the expiration of the incentives on Tuesday.

Other incentives included a Free Extended Warranty, as well as a $250 Gas Card.

Look carefully at the free extended warranty details … most are not worth even free but perhaps you got a good one
True. I don't like aftermarket warranties. I only go with automanufacturer's extended warranties with online discounting, of course.

You're both right, but it does add a little over the standard one, and it is a Ford one.

Dimensionally they're the same, AI hallucinations to the contrary.
