Recently bought new 2025 Outerbanks 1.5 Ecoboost. I love the car in general, but after bringing it to home, I noticed two unpleasing noises coming from it.
1) High pitched electrical noise in background
As soon as I start the car, and pull it out from garage, there is an electrical noise coming from dash screen (not the center console). I found out that when I adjust the brightness of dash, it gets noisier or quieter.
2) High pitched whistling noise when driving
When I drove in interstates and went over 85+mph, I could hear whistling noise. And I can definitely tell it's not from accelerating because the noise was there even when I was not accelerating but at a high speed. I suspect it is related to poor sound insulation.
I brought the car to the dealership, and not surprisingly, mechanics said

- Noise #1 is just the model's characteristic sound (!) as they could hear it from other BS
- Noise #2 could be a sound from its Turbo engine
