What would you guess the 2026 price would be for the Honda equipped similar to a 2025 BS Badlands with the Sasquatch package (as close as is possible that is)

No rear recovery hooks (like 2025 BS) but optional cargo table comes out and with supplied legs becomes a camp table, just supply chairs. Nice.

No rotary shifter like in Bronco Sports.

The article states “Toyota 4Runner, Ford Bronco, Jeep Wrangler, and Subaru Outback” so the TrailSport is not competing with 2025-26 Bronco Sport.

“just 8.3 inches of ground clearance” ?

“L x W x H: 190.6 x 79.5 x 73.1 inches”
2025 BS: 173″ L x 74″ W x 70-71″ H

“standard rear trailer hitch with a 7 pin connector (all Passports tow 5,000 lbs)”

2025 BS owners take note: “power-folding mirrors are standard on the Honda TrailSport”

Mounting full size spare is odd

The base Trailsport (which is not the cheapest mind you) MSRP is $48,450. The top of the line Trailsport MSRP is $53,650.

I really like the looks of the new Passport and agree it resembles our BS’s. But it’s a much larger vehicle in a totally different class. And the price reflects that too. If Honda had given a hybrid powertrain option I would be tempted though.

It’s obvious where they got their inspiration from! The whole thing looks like a 4/3 Bronco Sport. Not a bad thing! Honda’s large car platform, at least based on my experience with an MDX, is pretty space efficient, giving full size room in a midsize package. I think it’ll be worth a look. The only thing I can’t figure out, small detail perhaps, is why Honda is taking out SiriusXM in their cars.

I've had SiriusXM in my last 3 cars. I did the trial once and never really had a desire to use it after that. I pay for Apple Music and that's plenty of entertainment for me.

As for Honda? It might be they either don't want to deal with that or SXM isn't paying them enough.

How do you use Apple Music in the car? Is it all through car play? Googling it, that seems to be Honda’s answer. Just use your phone & car play. But they don’t tell you what happens when your data runs out? Or when you lose cell signal? Or why they bother putting anything in other than a display screen for your phone in the first place. I’m only getting on to CarPlay recently here even though I’ve had my 22 for 3 years now.

Do you have a limited data plan on your iPhone?

Regarding Apple Music, it’s very easy to download songs and albums to your iPhone so even without any cell phone coverage you can still listen to your favorite Apple Music.

Btw depending on your cell phone carrier, even if you had unlimited data there are unlimited data plans that throttle the data speed so have to carefully research unlimited data plans.

I like T-Mobile partnering with Starlink for satellite coverage … to me that is a great option and if T-Mobile coverage is great in areas of the country you are in and if the monthly cost was better than other options, why not have the benefit of Starlink satellite coverage for emergencies. I don’t use T Mobil but might someday.

Mine does throttle back, I just can’t recall to what & after how many gigs though. I had I think 2 or 3 gigs up until a year or so ago when data plans finally caught up with the 2020s Here. I’ll have to check out Apple Music more. So far I just have my normal iTunes songs on my phone which is good for a quick city trip but wouldn’t cover drive time to go very far.
