You have power mirrors but not “power folding” just the powered adjusting mirrors
Yes that was my point...
Sucks I don't get them but it is what it is. My only regret so far (without even received it yet) is not ordering the cargo system. I thought it was possible to add later on without tearing apart the interior trim.

Ford says you are supposed to get power folding mirrors on your Badlands

Bummer they are not being installed as described

Well, it is that pesky little "+" sign. Those of us who go the plain old "no + sign" Tech, and it appears the same on the Badlands, got no Power Fold. Just means we get to excersise our Manual Digitory Manipulators a bit more LOL

Maybe Ford will be kind and retrofit all of us for free, I think I shall not hold my breath.

I'm looking at my order sheet (not a window sticker - didn't get my OBX Sasquatch yet). It says Outer Banks Teck Package+ but the price is $1,695
If yours is still on order, you might be able to call your dealer and get upgraded to the Tech+ package, as it shows on the Order and Build site it is only an extra $100.

Can't hurt, if it were me, I would make the call for sure.

Good luck, so far after an entire 48 hours with mine, I am very happy, but for a few minor annoyances.

It was built February 17, waiting for a ship date. I think it would be too late. That's ok, I'm excited to be driving something new. Currently driving a 19-year old car.

Well, we have become a 2 Ford Family now. Wife will just NOT part with her Bright Yellow Focus, even the dealer can't believe how good it looks now. We talked to the salesman who sold it to her, special order .... back in 2006 LOL. Now it sits in the garage next to my 48 hour old Eruption Green.

Loving it so far, just a LOT of things to learn.

You may change your mind on that. The CMS does limit the width slightly from the rails for the shelf, and the shelf can't support a ton of weight. The best part of it in my opinion is that you can hide things under the shelf when parked, albeit they have to be small due to the height of the shelf.

I wish there was a privacy shade offered.

I have power folding on my truck. Never used the button but they fold when locked. Good in parking lots, or tight garages, ferry's etc.

If thats the only way to get the memory function, I'd spend for it and if the paperwork said I should have it and didn't, I'd make a fuss but otherwise, not a deal breaker.

On tow mirrors? A must have.

We didn't care for the Cargo system. The ledges stick out too far on the sides. Purposely sought one without.

A sight screen tonneau, like her Liberty had would be much better. But then, we aren't tailgators, so I can see the utility for those who are.

You are right, I can build a shelf system stronger that was my plan. I won't pay 1000$ to retrofit CMS back

When looking at Ford's parts website, I didnt find the power fold mirrors at first. For some reason they have it separately listed from the non-power fold mirrors and are not linked together, unlike the non-power fold memory and non-memory mirrors.

I am a bit shocked to see the power fold mirrors listed at just under $1000.

In case anyone needed the info...

On this Badland window sticker, it lists Power Mirrors not Power Folding Mirrors. I don't see PFM listed as an option either on the configuration page either.
Not on a window sticker but power folding mirrors is shown on Ford’s build tool - see pic

Standard on Badlands®.
Included in the Outer Banks® Tech Package+ on Outer Banks®

As I posted earlier, my guess is power folding mirrors is for select countries but not USA as was done on the earlier model Bronco Sports

That’s what I am also assuming now. The owner’s manual makes no separate reference or instructions on how to power fold the mirrors, not even a section with “if equipped”.

Ford should update their info. At least add a disclaimer for the Co-pilot 360 Assist 2.0 that power fold mirrors are not available in the U.S. market.

I’m not too concerned about not having the power fold function. Never owned a car with them, so don’t know what I am missing.

That’s why I didn’t order the cargo system either. I have to carry an electric mobility scooter in the back, and the cargo management system would just limit the amount of available space.
