Read the owners manual, the exit lighting can have up to a 3 minute delay before turning off. It's not a glitch.
it is a glitch. it stays on indefinitely, beyond the settings. I've gone to Walmart and stayed 20 minutes to come out to the lights still on.

I have disabled the delay on mine as it drains battery.

I’ve tried that as well haven’t noticed it helping! But I’ve heard getting the whole module swapped has fixed it? That’s what I’m about to try. The whole switch that has the trunk button, headlight switch, and your dimmer switch. That whole part. Idk if it’s a module or not. Just what I’m calling it.
I wish I knew how to tear apart the dash and get it out! I heard it was a quick fix! If anyone knows of any Threads let me know plz. I’m going to try doing some research. I’d like to save a few hundred if I can the part is only like $80ish but I can only imagine what they will try to charge for labor for no more than a 30min job.

Mine does this (keeps the daytime running lights on sometimes after shutting down) - I do not even have my daytime running lights enabled (I disabled them in the settings). It seems like it happens most often when I turn the car on only to shut my windows and then turn it back off (without driving it). Doesn't seem to happen when I shut down after driving.

Thanks for the videos.

So, has anyone with this issue swapped out the switch yet?

I[think] most of us are experiencing longer (8-10minutes) where the DTRLs remain on after exiting the rig

Are you experiencing any cases where the headlamps remain on past 10 minutes or is the issue for you sometimes only the DRLs stay on past 10 minutes no matter which Sync Setting timeout you have selected?

If it’s only DRLs, perhaps TSB 23-2267 applies to your vehicle?

I thought I saw a thread on this earlier, however I couldn't find it.

I've noticed that when I shut off the vehicle (BS Base) and lock the doors (via key fob) that things shut off in a sequence....interior lights, then guages, then headlights (if night) and lastly the daytime running lights. Problem is that occasionally (say 1 in every 10 shut downs) the daytime running lights will stay on. I then have to re-open the vehicle with the key fob, then lock it again...then everything shuts in the sequence including the daytime running lights.

I've come to the conclusion that today we drive computers rather than automobiles...likely a software glitch. Any one else experience this?
Yes. 2023 Bad Lands. One post said to use the head light switch to turn off the lights. As inconvenient as that is. Another post suggested in settings to turn off the delay feature for the lights.
