Today on my drive from Regina Canada to Prince Albert Canada in the freezing cold. My car lost all it's oil on the highway. This is the second time it's happened the last time was in January 2024. I fear there is engine damage. This is ridiculous how you can't drive a vehicle that is sold in Canada in Canada's weather.

How about some more information and background?

Was the first time an actual oil leak (oil dripping and or streaming from the engine) or is your engine using oil in excessive amounts?
Some manufacturers say using 1 quart of oil per 1000 miles is acceptable, I personally don't agree with line of thinking, and that could be difficult to challenge a manufacturer for a warranty claim if your Sport is still under warranty.

Not saying this is what happenef to you.
I worked as a mechanic in a past life, people can and do run their vehicles engines out of oil and claim they had just checked the level and it was fine.

It will be interesting to hear what the diagnosis is this time.

is this the post?

“1st time was the crank seal popped out. But I do not know the reason the crank seal popped out 1st time. I'm thinking it may be the same this time (2nd oil leak issue) and if so why does this keep happening. engine had 0w-20 the 1st time the oil leaked.

Two water pumps and two major oil leaks.”

2nd oil leak issue:
“Dealership does the oil changes. For this 2nd oil leak, I know it's a ford filter and 5w20 full synthetic., Block heater was used, engine was on for 3hrs and drove 250kms before failure.”

I found the original post from January 2024, it's quite the experience.
I've seen oil leaks in cold weather typically at cold start but having a seal blow out and loosing all the oil is on a whole other level.
There has to be another cause possibly related to the oil pressure being to high like a PVC problem thats allowing to much crank case pressure and causing the rise in oil pressure.

As I stated earlier, the diagnosis should be interesting. It will be really unfortunate if engine damage has occurred.
Hopefully Ford will be able to make things right for you and your Sport.

It would be interesting to find out that it "lost oil" from where? The only time I have ever had this happen to me was a very cold morning in a 1983 Mitsubishi 2.6 liter. The high oil pressure on startup pushed out a plug at the back of the engine over the cam shaft.

Several 1.5L owners reported the crank seal was the cause but seems to be other causes as well on various posts I’ve seen

Dominbimbo, I'm curious about what you northerners consider a "very cold morning"

I've driven vehicles at -20°F. The air fiilter iced up and the engine overheated, but we didn't lose oil.

Pretty cold would be -12F, +10F not uncommon. But more typically in Winter +20F for an overnight low.

Very cool morning would be 14F, cold -5F and very cold would be -20F. It can get colder but these are typical temps here in Ontario Canada.
