How do you get it to display the radio station logo? Mine has never done that.

I have sync 3.4, version 23188, i have another soft for Europe. But i have problem with time.

The HD radio is part of the B&O upgraded system.

You might check online with your local stations. They may not be HD.

They’re definitely in HD, as it lights up the HD logo and the sub channels show up. Just no station logos.

Will do. I think I just need to update the Sync software. It’s running whatever was current in late 2022, when the first 2023 models were being built.

Speak for yourself. I have the latest Sync 3 build and it is full of bugs. Not as bad as the previous but still not perfect. I've had that same "update" done three times and it still isn't right.

And that doesn't speak to the Sync 4 ongoing issues in other vehicles per the dealers.

Certainly.

-Sync does not not always link the current song info on the video screen with the dash cluster. Sometimes it will catch up, sometimes it will not after changing multiple channels or tracks.

-Periodically it will not connect to CarPlay after turning off but it was just on. Think of running an errand, getting back in and it not working when it was moments before.

-Last seat memory doesn't quite work. Starting it back up it will go through maybe half the cycle of resetting from the exit position to the last preset.

-Touch to unlock does not work at all for the tailgate, does for the window. Driver door is intermittent.

I'm told the last two are controlled by the same module as Sync.

Since you made FORScan mods and also have latest Sync 23188 it would seem like it would be a good first step to restore your as-built parameters with FORScan assuming you had saved them before making mods — then see if the time returns to the display

@jason202 HD FM stations in my area also do not display a logo - I had thought I’ve seen an HD station logo awhile ago maybe when I had an earlier version of Sync but since I don’t listen to AM or FM or HD Radio I cannot remember if I ever saw a logo.

Here are 2 examples, 93.3-2, I put the stations logo (circled) below the screenshot of the 8” Display but as you can see no logo appears in the 8” Display. And there is no indication in the 8” Display that it is HD2 (93.3-2).

The next pic is 95.5-3, again no logo but this is the only HD station that shows HD3 (circled) on the 8” Display.

The 3rd pic does show the station logo but that is a SiriusXM station.

It is radio station dependent on what info is broadcast with the stations HD signal so perhaps none of the HD stations in my area broadcast the logo and only 95.5-3 broadcasts the HD3 indicator. And it is the vehicle radio that also decides what is displayed so it’s possible Sync doesn’t support the logo display in 23188.

Google says: “If your HD radio isn't displaying a station logo, it's likely because the radio station itself isn't broadcasting a station logo through the HD Radio system, which is a feature that needs to be actively implemented by the broadcaster; your radio may not be compatible with the logo format being used, or there could be issues with your radio's signal reception or settings.”

Are you still running Sync 22251 or 22200?

To find your Sync 3.4 Build Version (do not scan for updates):
Select SETTINGS tab, then
Select GENERAL tab, then
Select ABOUT SYNC tab
It will show the Build Version (latest is 23188 Product).

Yes. HD radio is US only (maybe Canada, too) and proprietary; most of Europe uses DAB instead. I have no idea if the Ford Sync supports DAB internally but I understand that you can use a DAB USB dongle and add DAB to most any radio. OP may get a display of the radio logos if he tries that.

Good info on DAB but OPs issue is with time not being displayed on the 8” screen (see Post #1), along the way this thread was hijacked to discuss the radio station logo as shown on OPs pic in Post #1.

Regarding DAB in Europe, this link does state Sync 3 supports DAB:
