Yay!! Ford texted me earlier today saying my 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands is scheduled for production the week of 12/2/2024. Still need to get the VIN from my dealer, but at least there is some movement on the order placed in August.

Hope to have it in my hands before Christmas. I've already put in to take the week between Christmas and New Year's Day off from work so I can spend some time getting to know the vehicle.

As a veteran of multiple Ford orders, I hope you get it by Christmas, but I would be shocked if you did. Production by the week of 12/2 means that: they will start production of that scheduled batch of Sports that week. By the end of the week (12/7) they would have generally finished all scheduled builds - that does not mean they are done. Generally it is sent a lot afterwards for paint touch up and finish out. This typically takes another week. Then they are prepped for rail transit and loaded (another week typically - in some cases as many as six weeks). Depending on where you live shipping takes 2-4 weeks to get to the rail depot, where frequently they wait for awhile until enough autos are heading in the general direction of your dealership to justify loading a truck.

In all, I would estimate that from the time that Ford tells you it is "built" to "delivered" typically is 4-8 weeks. I have heard of people getting it faster, pretty rare. My sport was almost 4 weeks to the day.

You could get lucky. I went though same thing last year. Order was confirmed in August (also a Badlands) and it showed up at the dealer in early December. One thing though. If you know who get elected it may wind up costing $2-3k more with his proposed tariff since it's built in Mexico. The Kansas City Southern will bring it up to Pittsburgh. :fingerscrossed:

Yeah, I know. Don’t get my hopes up. Truth be told I’d rather Ford take their time and step up with quality control before any BS leaves the factory.

Remember “Quality is Job 1”? Apparently neither does Ford based on some of the posts I’ve been reading. I’m willing to roll the dice, however, because I believe there are more happy owners out there that you never hear from on this forum.

Besides, I love the BS style…kind of a throwback to my Dad’s Bronco II which I loved to drive back in my carefree days.

Plan on getting 2025 Bronco Sport
I placed my order August 28th and received the email that they received my order but have not received my build date yet as of today, but hoping I hear soon! I also know someone that ordered a 24 Bronco Sport that was shipped mid September and it still has not been delivered yet, so I know it will take a while, so now I'm thinking I'll get it some time in January, keeping fingers crossed!

I‘m optimistic and excited for you. I wouldn’t expect it by Christmas but it’s reasonable to hope

Patience is required when ordering a car. Ford determines build date by dealer's allocation, by their plans, then finally by parts availability. A dealer has to be allocated factory build time based upon their sales. A small dealer is at a disadvantage if they don't have many sales of the model you want to order. It's grossly unfair to the customer, but that's how the manufacturers work it, rather than on a FIFO (First In, First Out) system.
I ordered my '24 Badlands from a smaller dealer. They claimed they had the allocations, but my car wasn't built until 4 months later and it can take about 1 to 1-1/2 months to get to the destination dealer. I got my car 5-1/2 months after ordering it.

I received the order confirmation email from Ford the day after I placed the order at the dealer. Then I received the 45 day, 90 day and 135 day email updates, that my order was still in the system. Eventually, I received an email notifying me of a build week, and a couple weeks after that, an email notifying me of the build day. The build day was changed a couple time also.

Makes sense. The Ford dealer I ordered from is fairly large and has been around for decades. In fact I bought my very first car from them in 1984, a bare bones Escort.

Just wondering if anyone else has received their built date yet?

Know that what you see here is a very small slice of the pie. I haven't so much as a small blip in my Badlands. The 3 other people I know on my islands, all 1.5L, have had no trouble either and one lady drives back and forth to Nashville every weekend She 60K+ miles on her '23 OB!
