My wife loves her 2021 bronco sport except for the noise it makes backing up "sometimes".
It has been in the dealership 5 times for it.
With the bumper to bumper warranty expiring next month I would really like to get this resolved (just shy of 14000 miles).
Plus the laser beams she shoots at the side of my head with her glare each time this happens are starting to leave scars.
Looking for anyone in southwest Ohio who has gotten this resolved.
Would love the name of the dealership, mechanic and or TSB #.

Someone on here in the past couple days said they went with O'Reilly's brake pads, and it solved the problem you are talking about.

A search for brake noise on this site will net you a lot of threads to read through.

I'd think that if you have had the BS in 5 times for the same issue and its not resolved, you have a good case for a lemon law filing.

I did the pads and rotors myself and went with a different brand. It stopped whining.
Some have reported on this site as doing the same as you, only to have the brake whining to reappear after mileage has been put on the new brakes and rotors.

Hopefully not yours. If that is the case, please report back as to what rotors and pads were used by you.

I'd think though (and just my thoughts) that Ford would be researching other rotor and pad combinations to resolve the issue.

If this has been an ongoing problem since the introduction of the BS then Ford really doesn't care. Research takes money. And from what I've seen with Ford lately they won't throw dollars at an issue that doesn't affect the safety or reliability of the vehicle.

Your Bronco Sport makes whale sounds when backing up? Put on some ear muffs.

(I know I'm being cynical this morning...haven't had my coffee yet.)

Your wife would not be complaining of the brake noise if it happened?

She's a keeper.
