Sidewalk cracking in my rear tire and it can’t hold pressure. They have 19.6k miles so probably have to buy a pair. Not sure it’s worth getting all 4 new ones.
Curious what others would do in this situation?
I have the Falken Wikdpeaks that came when purchased for reference.

Had a sidewall bubble on one tire at 16k on my '22 Escape. Most likely pothole damage. Tread was already half done. Bought four new tires. Continental CrossContact LX25.

Unless you really can't afford to replace all four tires, I would replace all of them.
I did it when I destroyed one tire.
With only 19k miles you’d toss the 3 good ones?

Measure tread depth. AWD has a tread difference spec. May be 2/32". May have to buy four. Or shave new tire, if they can do it.

Tread depth gauge is a few dollars at Autozone and the like. It's with the tire patch kits.

Tire place said they’ll inspect the rest. I’ll check last ford visit to see what tread depth was since it was recent. Looking up tires and they warned about awd depth difference. First time I’ve heard of that so thanks.

I would say OP tire was damaged somehow or is a tire defect or is older than the other 3 tires.

Check all 4 tires date codes maybe that tire is older than the other 3.

Do you think the crack was from some type of impact damage or like BLUEOVALRACER said maybe older than the other tires? If due age of tire maybe covered by tire manufacturer warranty?

Another vote for “replace all four”. I hate replacing one or two, and then having them wear out/need replacing at different times — always have some w/more miles than others. Unless you can’t afford a full set, I’d do ‘em all.

Hard to tell but are those other cuts in the sidewall just to the right of the yellow circle?

My guess is exposure to elements plus off roading.
As for tire warranty how do I find that out. These are the tires that came with vehicle during purchase in 2023. Dealership wasn’t helpful in finding out about manufacture warranty
