Bronco going away tomorrow.

Shopped around while the Bronco was in the shop for recall and windshield. It's been a decent vehicle. Tired of excessive road noise and vibrating hood though. Hyundai dealer was next door. Never in my life did I contemplate a Hyundai. Found a new Santa Fe Ultimate Calligraphy edition. Blown away by the "bang for the buck". Virtually the same price as a new Badlands. Optional features incredible. Cooled seats, heated power reclining rear seats, 6 passenger is a bonus. 21 inch wheels , automatic power liftgate, dual wireless phone charging and much more. Here's hoping it is as reliable as the Bronco was.

I think it's overblown due to a popular YouTube channel. The vast majority seem fine. Two friends have them, zero issues. If numbers climb, they will issue a recall.

Also, I’d stay away from those Costco curbs, 21 inch wheels are great for making quick turns to avoid those curbs, but not so good at hitting them either direct or from the side! ?

Thanks and you're right! I don't hit curbs but a lady who shall remain nameless has grazed a couple. ? I will definitely report back. This forum has been very helpful.

Read it before, thanks anyway. If you worried about problems and recalls you wouldn't buy a new car these days. I was also a Ford dealer for 25 years. Had our own nightmares including the 1.5L.

I don't blame you at all. The new Santa Fe is a phenomenal vehicle. With the value proposition and killer looks, you can't go wrong. You're essentially getting the looks of a Land Rover Defender but for Hyundai money. And you're taking advantage of the best factory warranty in the business. Kias and Hyundais have been known for that. Enjoy your new ride. You're gonna love it.

P.S., I would ignore the haters that just love to bash on Hyundai and Kia for being crap vehicles. They've come a long way in the last several years. And it helps one of the lead engineers is originally from Audi which is why their new vehicles all look fantastic!

Thanks very much ! Yes the styling and features blew me away. Land Rover has survived on mostly their looks imo. Not known for reliability that's for sure. I will update fine people like yourself and definitely ignore the naysayers.

but it is not….the DCT has well documented issues across the board - it will fail, it’s a matter of luck when.

honestly I just find it hilarious, you come here complaining about your Bronco Sport and turn around and buy a Hyundai known to have tons of issues ?????

I had minor complaints about the Bronco and also said it was reliable. I didn't realize we had to gloss over issues on our Broncos. I find it hilarious that you come off as a 14 year old with your multiple emojis.
