Bushwacker fender flare fell off!

They are held on by clips. The clips come off. We’ve had several clips come off but never lost the flare like that.

I want to pick these up next, but hoping to find some that actually rivet on to avoid this exact issue.

I wanted to get this and the side molding back in 2021 but decided not to due to what you just have experienced. Hopefully you get yours fixed soon

If your dealership put it on, they will fix it for free (and have them check the clips on the others). If DIY, contact the manufacturer and they will send you the parts for free.

One of mine came off once too and it was only windy on the highway. The BW brand (from Ford) are put on using clips AND double-sided tape. They redid all of them and are all very tight now with no issues. I love mine.

The clips used to hold the flares on are quite robust, but they only work if installed correctly. I strongly suspect most of these are not properly installed.

I was thinking this could be a problem due to the small srews that hold it to the body. So I put locktide on every screw and they have been great.

I have the RC fender flares and they have clips that attach to the body, then the flares connect to the clips with small screws. So I made sure the clips were connected tight and I put locktide on the screws to the clips.

Mine are held on by 3M tape. I move them to each new Bronco Sport I get. Never had one fall off.

I'm thinking about adding tape in addition to the clips.

The only place for VHB tape is under the rubber strip along edge and that is only a point contact . Are your the oem bushwaker ones?

Dealer installed , Good point! I might ask them but I doubt they will fix for free….but maybe . I did not see any vhb tape used or in pictures of the kit.
