I want to pick these up next, but hoping to find some that actually rivet on to avoid this exact issue.
The ‘fake’ rivets on the flares are just nut and bolts to plastic so you could get longer bolts and drill holes in you fender and accelerate the rust ! Not a good option .

True, and I am sure there are ways to prevent the rust. I'll probably end up talking to a local shop and seeing what can be done.

They look ok on the others see photos
I don't mean most of them on your car, I mean most installed on the fleet. I probably shouldn't say "most." It's more accurate to say "those falling off."
