Hello, did they manage to reproduce the vibration from the garage? Did they make a diagnosis?
Hey, I actually wanted to send you the latest update on my situation. They kept my car for a long time. The Ford garage manager was unable to reproduce it, but then they saw in one of the videos I shared with them, that the jerking occurs and the message appears when the car is completely stopped with the handbrake on. And this shouldn't happen, since according to them apparently the message should only appear if the car is in motion.

They checked with Ford engineers, but no one could find the root cause. So they decided to replace the entire gearbox. Thanks God I paid for an extended warranty.

They gave me the car back for now, cause the gearbox may take long time to arrive. So I'm still waiting. Hope this helps to you as well.

Hey.
Well, yes and no. Both the dealer and Ford admitted that the automatic gearbox is defective. However, since February, they’ve been telling me there's no stock. I used to get a call from Ford every week, where the representative would repeat the same thing. Now, they don't even bother calling me. They just send an SMS with the same template every week.

One time, the representative from Ford admitted that apparently, more vehicles are affected. So, Ford is well aware there's a significant issue with this gearbox, but they seem to be trying to hide it as much as possible instead of taking any official action.

To make matters worse, when I asked if it was safe to drive with this faulty gearbox, both Ford and the dealer kept passing the responsibility to each other, saying it was the other’s responsibility to provide an official confirmation on the matter.

I'm not even sure if this is completely legal, but it’s frustrating that neither Ford nor the dealer will give me a clear answer.

Man, I am sorry you are having to deal with people passing the buck. The dealer I finally I finally found after learning of my situation was honest at the get go, said they would look at the codes and submit a g diagnosis within a couple of days so I could get a rental. Once they diagnosed, they ordered the transmission and promised me that if it did not arrive within 10 days they would pull would pull from, and I believe they would have, but the new trans came in within a week.
Maybe you could mention it to them, and see if your dealer would do the same- are they at least covering you with a loaner or rental?

That is not true. The weird message gear will engage at low speed, as well as the wrench all came on while my car was not moving despite having it in drive .

Thanks man! Happy to hear your had more luck with your dealer. Nope, no loaner or rental offered. They just gave me back the car and I keep using it with this problem. I'm starting to think in reaching out to a consumer rights organisation. They'll be more than happy to investigate further and make it public in media.
