Nope, currently I don't have any issues with the battery or the start/stop.

At some point, last year I think, I've got a message in the FordPass app due to less driving saying: "Remote features disabled to preserve battery".

They charged the battery a little bit and I don't get this message anymore. Doesn't look like it is related to the car jerking when switching to Reverse and the message ("Gear selected will engage at low speed") issue in my case though.

Hi!

I've got exact same problem (both the message and car violent shuddering when switching to Reverse) on my Focus ST-Line 2021 Ecoboost Automatic 1.0 125, but no solution so far yet... The only difference is that for me it happens occasionally and I'm unable to identify the pattern.

The problem started about half a year after buying the car. It is still on warranty and I've been to the official Ford repair several times because of that. But every time they say that they are unable to reproduce this behavior and they don't get any transmission/ gear box diagnostics errors. Therefore, they cannot fix the issue.

What have been already tried: transmission and gear box diagnostics; gear box oil check and fill; replacement of a solenoid; TCM reset. Nothing worked.

Have you managed to make any progress on fixing this problem, please?

It has been stated in this website, that there is a difference among dealerships that will in many cases, serve as the prime determinant in how well issues are addressed. In association with my badlands blues I’ve dealt with three dealers:
When my BSB stopped working, the dealer I bought it from indicated I needed a o take it to the dealer that is closer to me. I found this problematic because the closer dealer had demonstrated they did sloppy work, but also because a week after I purchased the Bronco, I returned to the dealer and took the service manager out on a drive so he could hear the winding like noise from the transmission. He said he could barely hear it, I was overly sensitive and if the sound was related to some malfunction, that would be a reason for concern. He recommended that if the sound got worse, to contact him. From there, the few times I have called when it seemed the noise got worse and also to inquire on how I could return the third party extended warranty they sold me, which because I was naive I just assumed it was the Ford protection- they never returned my calls
So the two dealers closest to me, are worthless as far as I am concerned
- the dealer I bought from has avoided taking any responsibility, which they ensure by recommending I take it to the more near Ford dealer, who are 20 minutes closer.
I called the closet dealer, described the error messages and codes and asked if they could address if I had towed there. They approved. I will spare the details and run around I experienced over a two week period with this dealer, which ended when I was expecting a call from them to inform me they had a rental available and instead I get a call from roadside assistance verifying that I had just requested the Bronco be delivered to a dealer 75 miles away- problem being I made no such call, but rather dealer did. I was livid.
I will never take my Bronco to either of these dealers as they are snakes, and they do not represent the value of FORD.
The third dealer it went provided an entirely different experience, honest from the get go that it would be a few weeks until they could set to it. By the time they finally were able to decipher the various error codes, most of which did not come through on my Ford Apps, and the inspected the trans fluid and filter and discovered metal shavings, and promptly ordered a new transmission and replaced. It was this dealer and talking to public relation staff at Ford that developed the sense of trust and expertise that Ford is supposed to be known for.
Since the new transmission was installed at 16k miles, the Bronco has been running great.
My advice is to closely evaluate the people you deal with at dealerships , and if they give the runaround, due shoddy work and don’t really seem to give a damn, then find another dealer to work on your car. Snd if there is a sound that is not normal, don’t settle for half-baked BS reasoning

I just left mine at Ford again yesterday. Waiting for them to confirm if they at least manage to reproduce the behaviour this time ?

Unfortunately I don't hope for a solution after 6 months of suffering. I took it back to the garage right away. However, I believe an outside specialist garage (Ford) has more knowledge. in case they do not find a solution to the problem, I will also have to take the appropriate actions to be compensated. 6 months and counting.

Had the same issue with my EcoSport. Turn the car off, code disappeared. Dealer checked (for $150), couldn't replicate. Two weeks later, same issue, I traded it for my BB... Gremlins I tell ya!

Not yet unfortunately. They have the car for 2 weeks already, but keep telling me that they haven't even managed to reproduce the behavior. I told them to keep the car until they can reproduce the car jerking and the message...
