Well, I asked my dealer to keep if overnight. They checked the brakes early in the morning. I got a call that it was heard in all three buildings of the dealership…. he admitted I was not kidding , it was significant. I said great, now fix it. Parts are on back order as we know….. Dude I sent him all this info. You guys had info he couldn’t find so thanks again.

Odd that a service advisor pretended not to know how to find a TSB … not trained very well it would seem

On 12/28 I had the dealer change my oil and rotate the tires on my 22 BSBB. As I was leaving I mentioned that aweful whale sound coming from the rear brakes now that it's cold again. Right away he said it was a bushing problem and would order me the parts. Just waiting for when they'll be in.

I had mine fixed last Thursday (1/25/24) and everything seems to be good. I did hear a little sound once on the night I had it repaired, but since then it's been quiet as an introvert stuck in a large crowd. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for the great information. Will be curious to see if this is a permanent solution or temporary.

Here's the work order:
Ford Bronco Sport TSB 22-2326 : "Moan Noise in the Rear Brakes When Driven in Reverse in Cold Weather or High Humidity" 20240131_075658
Did you have TSB-2041 performed in a past service visit? (TSB-2041 is referenced in the work order)

work order goes on to say the work was performed according to TSB 23-2308 which is the current fix from Ford.

TSB 23-2308
Moan Noise In The Rear Brakes When Vehicle Is Driven In Reverse (R) In Cold Weather And/Or High Humidity, Supersedes 23-2041

TSB 23-2041
Moan Noise In The Rear Brakes When Vehicle Is Driven In Reverse (R) On Cold Weather And/Or High Humidity, Supersedes 22-2326

TSB 22-2326
Brakes: Updated caliper mounting hardware

I never had the previous work done. I brought it in, waited a few hours only to find that they didn't do the work, stating they didn't have the correct parts because there was a new TSB. I went home with the promise that they would order the new parts and get back to me. I waited over a month and they never got back to me, when I contacted them the said the would take the parts from another job in order to get this fixed ASAP.

I'm hoping this solves the problem. It's been so nice, almost weird though not hearing the really loud sounds we've grown used to when backing up.

Can someone help me out and write up what do I have to tell the dealership to get it fixed!?
They say it's normal operation and won't do anything!

Print out this current TSB 23-2308 which is the current fix from Ford. Take to your dealership and have them perform the work per the TSB. There is no guarantee it will fix the sound your specific vehicle is making.
