Back again , a little over a year ago I had to have the water pump replaced . I was checking levels for 6 months or so after with zero loss of coolant . Yesterday I popped the hood to clear leaves out and noticed the coolant reservoir was low . Very low . Approx 2 inches below max fill . This is 17k miles after a new pump , can it be actually possible it's the pump again? If it is do will I actually have to pay for this as the warranty is 36k I believe. I hope it's just a hose or clamp but I've a sneaky suspicion their are defective 21' water pumps.coming lff the assembly line . It's in the shop il post again when they diagnose the fault .

And if it was replaced by Ford, using a Ford part, that repair should have a warranty timeframe, regardless of the vehicle warranty.

Your powertrain warranty goes for 5 yr/60K miles, whichever comes first. Check your warranty doc to see what exactly is covered. Here's some information on coolant leaks.

Well I guess I'm a big worrier, thanks for the posts. Apparently it was a loose clamp that caused an air lock , believe it was something like that . According to the service tech . So I'm relieved. Good to know power train is 60k . I thought I read since I didn't buy from ford it was only 36 k . I bought the car in 22 from an internet site. Not doing that ever again .

Be careful though. I have had so many issues with my 2021 OB sport that Ford gave me an extended service warranty. I just had it on for the recall on the injector nozzles and oil change. The left side of my dual temp zone works intermittently. They are trying to tell me my water pump needs replaced. This vehicle has been the worst I have ever owed with all the issues. Here is the kicker. Ford replaced the rear brakes on a recall and now they said the rears need to be replaced and disks. They are trying to charge me 1300.00 for the water pump and brakes. What a total joke. Ford if you a listening, bring all manufacturing back to the US. Very upset ford owner.

Be careful of what you wish for.
Maybe it's the engineering or contract parts suppliers and not manufacturing/assembly.

Well......when I had missing fasteners on the air diverters and a cocked window regulator, I call that assembly. As much as these vehicles cost, they should be perfect in my opinion.
