I recently ran across a company called TWRAPS online who make Magsafe compatible charging pads that drop into the console and work great. I have a Mach-E and was tired of it loosing connection every time it slid around and found a solution online by a company called TWRAPS out of California. I also have a 2023 Bronco Sport and was running into the same issue because I am using an adapter for wireless CarPlay and the phone would not charge because it would slide around on the rubber mat.

I contacted TWRAPS and they were able to make one for the Bronco Sport and it fits like a glove and now they are selling them online. Obviously because of space it can only charge a single phone,(which is all you can charge to begin with) but it works great. It plugs into the USB-C port and it comes with an adapter for standard USB.

So now the iPhone is attached via the magnet and will always stay charging. Here is the link if interested. It's $49.95 and I think is well worth it. I think if you have an Android capable of wireless charging and a magnetic case it will work with those as well.

Looks great!! And it will more than double the charge (at 7.5w) for many iPhones* over the Ford charging pad which as you pointed out an iPhone sliding around means the Ford charging pad is providing closer to 0W into the iPhone.

*Apple limits the accepted charge to 7.5w for non-Apple chargers at least for iPhone 14s and earlier models, I’m not sure yet the limit for iPhone 15 models

I've got a non apple wireless charger and it charges my iPhone 14 from 20% to 100% in about 1-1/2 hours so obviously it's not limited to 7.5W. It's a Yootech charger.

As long as the charger is QI certified, iPhone will accept higher rates.

The iPhone won't accept more than 7.5w from a Qi charger unless it's Magsafe certified at an appropriate voltage Apple states the following:
Many Qi-certified chargers charge iPhone with the latest version of iOS at rates up to 7.5 watts. These chargers are available at the Apple Online Store and Apple Stores.
In contrast, Magsafe certified devices will charge up to 15W peak power delivery.

The iPhone 15 series is tentatively Qi2 certified, but Qi2 is basically "Magsafe but open" and pretty much everything on the market wireless charging isn't QI2. Qi2 was Apple volunteering the magnetic alignment technology for optimal charging to the wireless power consortium, and existing Qi chargers without it are not certified or compatible with it.

Your car options are extremely limited for true 15W charging via Magsafe to an iPhone wirelessly. If you want a clean install and don't want to see the phone screen while driving, the OPs insert for a magsafe puck is the best implementation I've seen. If you want the phone screen to flank the Sync 3 to display a phone app while driving (radar detector integration, GPS, whatever) then the Spigen OneTap Pro 3 is Magsafe certified at 15W and stronger than the "insert a Magsafe puck" car mount options that exist on Amazon.

TWRAPS's Magsafe charging pad is limited to 10W b/c they don't use Apple's charging puck.
Still, if you have Apple's puck, you can just unscrew the one that comes with the pad and replace it with Apple's puck. TWRAPS confirmed this. That way you should have the 15W option.

As I have the puck, I ordered it already. Looking fwd to review it.

If TWRAPS is including a charging puck and isn't certified, that's up to 10W as a Qi charger, and 7.5W as an uncertified Qi charger. It's better than what comes in the BS which is a 5W Qi. The only trick would be figuring out to do with the excess cable of the Apple OEM Magsafe puck, but there's plenty of space above the USB-C port.

I would note that the USB ports built into the BS are not ideal for charging rate either - the regular Bronco forums (could be different from the BS, fully disclaiming) indicated about 8-9 watts out of the USB-C port. I'd need to test the built in ports of the BS with a tester to tell, but you'd probably need a DC "cigarette lighter" output to get the >=20W ideal for 15W magsafe charging.

Well, I tested the Twraps charging pad. It works great. The phone does not move with normal driving and keeps charging.
Still, I tried replacing the pack with Apple's to take advantage of stronger magnets and 15W charging.
Replacing it was easy, however the BS does not like the Apple puck and tells me it is "Not an Approved USB Device" and disconnects it.
So, the only option is keeping the Twraps puck or --what I plan to do- wire the puck myself directly to the car's harness.

That’s interesting, I have this apple MagSafe charging puck which works in the BS plugged into the USB-C port. But rarely use it because I need that data port for wired CarPlay.

I have one of the Apple pucks at home and it is blistering fast--two to three times faster than the built-in Ford one. I bought a second Apple puck for my 350Z and just leave the phone attached in the console. I use the Ottocast wireless adapters in both the Z and the BS. Very pleased with that setup.
