Well after 31 months of ownership and just under 27,000 miles I traded in on a Honda Passport Trailsport.
I enjoyed the Bronco Sport very much and will miss certain aspects of it. Dealer did resolve the back brakes issue last week. But I have always been one to not keep vehicles a long time. This is probably one of the longest I've went.?
Just decided on a bigger, more comfortable vehicle with more creature comforts and I've found that. Best of luck to the current and future Bronco Sport owners!

I'm a Honda guy and went back and forth with the BS and a Passport Elite. The styling of the retro look BS got me. I do believe the Passport is a much better vehicle to keep long term but I too don't keep a vehicle long or the pic would have been the Passport. Maybe next time because I really should keep a vehicle longer.

Which of the ‘23 option packages do you recommend for the Trailsport?
Honda really doesn't have packages other than dealer accessories. Package options go by models like EX-L. Trailsport and Elite with the Passport and Pilot..

EX-L
Starts off the Passport range with:
  • 20-inch alloy wheels
  • LED headlights
  • Heated side mirrors
  • Power liftgate
  • Sunroof
  • Proximity keyless entry and ignition
  • Remote engine start
  • Three-zone automatic climate control
  • Leather upholstery
  • Power-adjustable front seats
  • Driver's seat memory settings
  • Heated front seats
  • 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system
  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration
  • Wireless smartphone charging
  • Seven-speaker audio system
Every Passport also comes with:
  • Blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert (warns you if a vehicle is in your blind spot during a lane change or while in reverse)
  • Forward collision mitigation (warns you of an impending collision and applies the brakes in certain scenarios)
  • Lane keeping system (makes minor steering corrections to help keep the vehicle centered in its lane)
  • Adaptive cruise control (can maintain a driver-set distance between your vehicle and the car in front)
  • Parking sensors (alert you to obstacles that may not be visible in front of or behind the vehicle when parking)
TrailSport
Adds a more rugged appearance, plus:
  • 18-inch alloys with more aggressive tire tread
  • Roof rails
  • Heated wiper rest zone to prevent icing
  • Power-folding side mirrors
  • Ambient interior lighting
  • Rear side window sunshades
  • Navigation system
  • 115-volt power outlet
Elite
Lacks the TrailSport's special styling but otherwise tops the line with:
  • Unique 20-inch wheel design
  • Hands-free liftgate
  • Ventilated front seats
  • Heated steering wheel
  • Rear-seat climate controls
  • 10-speaker premium sound system
  • HondaLink connected services

I should have been more clear about option packages, I meant just the following 2 packages but for $2,900 mostly it’s just wheels as the rest of the package content doesn’t seem too exciting for that high of a price.

this is 2023 info as I didn’t find the 2024 build and configure website yet

For me, if you have to get one, I'd say the bronze package. I'm not a fan of this blackout black pages and stuff.

Congratulations! I cross shopped the Passport, I think a '20 MY. It definitely felt old and I wasn't keen on getting the last model year of a generation. I know they're supposed to be the best but it had really old tech and design.

I'm curious how the AWD Transport will compare to the Bronco Sport regarding off roading. This is my first SUV and now I'm getting into some roadtripping and off highway driving. Nothing too exciting but would the PP have the same confidence.

I just traded mine for a CR-V Sport hybrid in urban gray pearl. Gas is $5 a gallon here (and no sign of it going down anytime soon) and I really like the idea of 40mpg around town. The CR-V looks really nice. Not as manly as the Bronco Sport but it's much more mature than it used to be and I think it looks really good. Honda Sensing is a lot better than co-pilot 360 too. We also have a Passport Trailsport that my wife drives. It's the next to go probably for another CR-V hybrid since the PP gas mileage is pretty bad too. I really loved the BS, but man the CR-V is a much smoother, quieter ride for sure. This is the second car I've purchased without a test drive (BS was the first). These are selling as soon as they arrive. This one arrived today and they had a list of people that wanted it so I pulled the trigger. It didn't disappoint and I've only driven it from the dealer to home but it doesn't feel much different than a non-hybrid.

I suspect fuel economy will grow in importance in the coming decade. You gotta be happy with the car you’re driving; congrats!

Interesting that just yesterday I told a friend about the high price for premium of over $5.359 and 2 minutes later this headline flashed up: “Gas prices could fall to $3.25 (Nationwide) by Halloween (2023) as oil plunges”

Now gas nationwide was $3.77 so the fall to $3.25 (if it happens in 3 weeks) is only $0.52 meaning maybe premium falls to about $4.80 which is still high making your CR-V Sport hybrid purchase a very smart move.

I'm one of the opposite guys. I typically keep a vehicle for around 25 years or so.

I like putting money in the bank and thence to the stock market.
