Where was your Bronco Sport manufactured?

Question for Bronco Sport owners

I’m wondering if the issues and recalls some of us are and aren’t having are due to the manufacturing plant location.

So let me know… which plant was your Bronco made at and are you having problems or not?

the 1st letter of the vin number tells you the location
The manufacturing plant is also listed in the VIN number

So mine, for example was made in Mexico and Manufactured in Hermosillo

They are all assembled in Mexico. There isn’t another plant associated with that process on the VIN.

Slight correction: They're all ASSEMBLED in Mexico. The parts are made in various places around the globe.

Correct. I’ve edited my post to reflect. Point being though that the VIN denotes R for Hermosillo, not R for a GM plant in TX. It’s a Ford vehicle.

Correct. That’s the only plant they are assembled.

All Ford VIN’s that start with 3 are assemble in Hermosillo Mexico. That plant assembles Bronco Sports and Mavericks (at least as of 2022).

Hermasillo which turns out received the highest rating for building quality vehicles. 10,000 miles and no problems.

The 2.0 engine is made in Spain but also in Ohio from what it seems. The 1.5 engine used to be made in Wales. It's now moved to Mexico too. Which is great. Keeping it local keeps the price down.
