EVs might look to some as problems but engineers like problems and then generate solutions which cause even more problems ?

Yea that’s my hang up with EVs. Perfectly reasonable for day to day commuting but they’re not there yet when it comes to long distance trips. The charging network isn’t there and it takes too long.

Some will defend EV for that purpose but those that do are willing to accept those compromises and personally invest in the EV concept.

Meanwhile most people won’t accept a vehicle that can’t go hundreds of miles and can’t be filled up with more gojuice in minutes.

EVs are very promising and I have no doubt the engineers are working on clever technologies but they simply haven’t come far enough to be a reasonable substitute for ICE in those circumstances.
