Turned out to be BAD GASThat’s hilarious. I will definitely update this thread next week. BTW mine didn’t show any warning lights, codes, etc. on the dash. It simply shut itself off for no reason but was unable to restart ?‍![]()
About 3 miles with one stop and shut off during the trip. What was the time between your visit to a gas station and the Sport stalling out?
I just read a story about something similar happening recently in Georgia.Turned out to be BAD GAS
The blue stuff in my tank wasn't diesel....it wouldn't burn nor evaporate.I just read a story about something similar happening recently in Georgia.

It happened to me. Tow truck driver said shifter. Dealer said battery. So far, battery has worked. While I was stopped at a red light, I was first in line to go once the light changed. When it turned green I took my foot off the brake and my Badlands died (I do drive with the automatic shut off turned off). It wouldn't start again. Message on screen kept telling me to put it into park....but when it shut off it immediately went into park. I tried everything to get it started again. Ended up having to call Roadside Assistance and have it flatbed towed to the nearest Ford dealer....Anyone have this happen to them and know what the problem could be? Dealer is trying to find out but so far hasn't found the problem. HELP!!!
Mine was definitely bad gas...runs like a top since they fixed itIt happened to me. Tow truck driver said shifter. Dealer said battery. So far, battery has worked.
Stick with top tier gas to reduce the chance of getting bad fuel.Mine was definitely bad gas...runs like a tip since they fixed it
I use Shell premium fuel. Have in all my vehicles for many, many years. I also buy the gas from the same station. They got a bad load and I got a half tank of it. First bad gas I had ever gotten in my life.Stick with top tier gas to reduce the chance of getting bad fuel.

Did you notify the station? I would have had a come-to-Jesus meeting with the manager...I use Shell premium fuel. Have in all my vehicles for many, many years. I also buy the gas from the same station. They got a bad load and I got a half tank of it. First bad gas I had ever gotten in my life.
It is in the process of being taken care of at the moment, through Shell Co., Shell Station and both insurance companies.Did you notify the station? I would have had a come-to-Jesus meeting with the manager...
So, wait, what...... The 2023 have memory seats? What about the temperature on the dials?Vehicle is running like a top...but, I did trade it in on a 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands with the Premier pkgs as I was looking before all this for one with the memory seats. Had to order it, same colour. I am not saying the one I have now is not good, just I need the memory seats is all.
I'm glad to hear Shell is stepping up. Another reason to stick with top-tier gas!It is in the process of being taken care of at the moment, through Shell Co., Shell Station and both insurance companies.
It took them 3 months of bugging...I'm glad to hear Shell is stepping up. Another reason to stick with top-tier gas!
