No, that's not it. I'm comparing your statement that you would have "more issues" to worry about than a weak pinch weld if you have an accident to similar statements made by those who argue against wearing seatbelts. My assumption is the "more issues" you refer to would be injury or death. It doesn't make sense to me to weaken the structure of your vehicle designed (in part) to protect you in an accident if you anticipate injuries should you have an accident.You're comparing wearing a seatbelt or helmet on a motorcycle to trimming 1inch off a pinch weld ??? Sorry, can't really agree with you on that.
