Tree branch, probably. I don't have a garage anymore after moving to the new house and we've had some pretty wild storms here in NC. There were some little scratches above it that I was able to buff out.
They might be able to get that out with PDR.

I've got a well-reviewed dent repair place 5 mins down the road. How much does it typically cost to fix a single dent out of pocket? Not going to claim something this small on my insurance.

Customized my 3D Maxpider rear mat to look like the Ford set only better. :)

Also did an emblem overlay in grey and white to better match the overall paint scheme.
Last but not least rear defroster connection covers.

Washed her & applied the plastic trim ‘back to black’ stuff for the first time. Or whatever the chemical brothers version is. Very happy with the deep, lux black colour of the trim as opposed to the dried-out grey look.

Nice, trying to decide if the side trim is worth the investment on my OBX
Gave it a nice wash and wax and made it look beautiful...but I found my first dent. ?

I park in the boonies and am very careful but I was kind of relieved to get the first little mysterious dent, also probably from a small branch, and get it over with. So congratulations!?

Applying plastic conditioners/wax/polish/restoresr is the best way to really make the BS look great after a nice wash imo. It's an extra step but one that really pays off. I use spray on graphene flex from Turtle Wax on the whole car often and it does a pretty good job on the plastic as a quick solution if I don't want to spend a lot of extra time with a specific plastic restorer.

I think it looks great on some colors, not all. It's also a gamble if you'll have to move your badges. It depends on how high they were placed on the assembly line. Mine fit without moving them, but my wife's Badlands would require you to move them. Just something to consider.

I am biased of course ? but I prefer the side mouldings look. I factored in the cost when I was arranging my financing so it disappeared into the overall car bill. Along with the fender flares it looks extra meaty and I like that chunkiness.

I have the “System X Diamond SS” ceramic coating, so a touchless wash & microfibre hand dry and she’s back looking super shiny again. I have a meguires ceramic wax spray on thingy but I have only used it once as I seem to keep forgetting about it.

Good advice. The OEM badges on my ‘22 OBX needed removing. But it wasn’t a bad thing as I had some custom aftermarket ones I was replacing them with so they needed to come off anyway.

I'm finding that Meguiars Express Spray Wax works great on the plastic trim. Keeps original shine without being greasy like so many plastic restorers. It also doesn't run on to the paint after a rain.

I use some stuff from Mothers that worked as well…. But I find myself having to do this at least twice a month…. I hate seeing that faded black on those trim pieces …. Which make up half the vehicle ! Hahahah

but with the state of technology … or lack of, you decide …hehehe… I wish manufacturers could introduce a UV component/polymer to the plastic to help resist the fading !!!? Ugh.

guess we need to wait for “our” government to back-engineer that from a downed saucer , and soon : )

Smart. That would have been the way to ease the pain!

Technically Sunday but here goes:

1. Redline hood struts. I hate the kickstand and usually do it to my vehicles almost immediately. Prime Day had them $20 off. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B095SW37XZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

2. Course Motorsports MagSafe cell phone mount. I have their sister company's mount (Rennline) in my e46. Didn't go with the charging option since this silly trucklet doesn't have wireless CarPlay and I'm not inclined to buy a dongle.

3. RadarMount V1 detector mount and their mirror tap for power. I should have taken pics but rain was impending and I had to get it done.

Tap: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RA38XEK?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Mount:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0063N7UGA?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

4. Popped a tray into the center console. I dunno why Ford doesn't have these stock.

The biggest challenge in the whole thing was pulling trim panels off a brand new vehicle.

The Course mount is nice, but it does prevent the vent from angling towards the passenger side. And with the phone on it the vent is partially blocked. But... with AC on it's going to keep the phone cool during charging and high CarPlay usage. Win there.

The RadarMount is straight forward, the longer screws that come with it are perfect for the large diameter mirror arm.

Determining whether I was going to tap into a light or the auto-dimming mirror power was a lot of head scratching. I pulled the ceiling console down and realized if I did it there the mirror tap wire would be a little too tight so I went with the auto-dimming plug. The taps go into the white and black pins on the plug for the mirror (not on the harness it attached to). Everything works fine and now I have a spot for my V1. I'll post a pic later of the finished product.

Aside from the Chinesium console tray, everything I installed is manufactured here in the US. Course in Vermont, Redline in Michigan, RadarMount in Nevada.
