2025 Ford Bronco Plug-In Hybrid In the Works

I just got finished reading this article of a PHEV full-size Ford Bronco in the works for 2025. This may be a compelling alternative for anyone who is interested in upgrading to a full-size, just like one of the recent forums posted on here regarding this subject. Let me know what you think.

Still going to hope for a PHEV BS. The size of the BS is good for my needs, and I don't off-road, but being able to run electric most days would be awesome. I just hope Ford doesn't stagger putting out first a hybrid then a PHEV with no advance notice. If they decide to only make a hybrid and not a PHEV, I'd probably go for that, but I'd be annoyed to find out a year later that a PHEV was coming.

Still going to hope for a PHEV BS.

Absolutely, We have had 3 Fusion Energi and they have been spectacular.
Being able to commute 15-25 miles even gets you off petrol for quick runs to the grocery store, kids ball games, etc. Then Hybrid available for longer commutes or trips.

I'd love a PHEV or just hybrid Sport, but it sure as heck better still be AWD/4x4. Such a pity about the Maverick.

I want a hybrid. I live in a rural area, the power can be spotty. There's no charge stations out here. And I have to drive a ways to get to anywhere. Hybrid would suit me just fine.
