concer
Unruly person that brings out the worst in mankind by promoting selfishness and ill will.
I was at work the other day trying to surf the internet and that concer Harry was talking so loud on the phone that I could hardly see straight.

Possible typo aside, I wish the question was more specific. What plastic? What about the plastic? Entire cars across model and manufacturer are plastic. Doesn't matter if you get a Silverado or a Wrangler or a Palisade. How should we feel about it? It's like asking my concer about the glass on a phone, or glaze on a dinner plate.

Are you sure you picked the right username? You could easily be a year away from owning a '24. That will give you a lot of time to see what else happens in the car market. I think conditions can only improve and lots of Bronco clones are starting to appear. Scout is making a comeback too. However, I bet they're clad in plastic, both inside and out.
It's the nickname I acquired in my career as a research scientist. When the engineers in the company screwed up, they came to the scientists to resolve the problems. We worked on many failure analyses, and time was always of the essence to get facilities up and running.

Sorry for the typo error ? . I am just asking as a new bronco sport badlands owner . I really love my bronco . Just want to know everyone’s reaction about the interior plastic in a bronco . Thank you
Honestly, my reaction is no different than any other vehicle I own or have owned that has plastic in the interior. Which is no reaction at all.

To be honest they don’t bother me at all. I accept them as a compromise Ford made. Yes ideally it would be better but that would mean a larger price point and perhaps Ford isn’t then able to throw in the nice upgrades that the Badlands comes with.

I have noticed though that they bother me much less than other people though.

So am I concerned? Not at all.

It's heartening to see there are still folks around who can take a bit of good-natured ribbing. :like:

It's a bronco...sport. entry price point with design for off-road adventure. Buy something else. Shop around for rich Corinthian leather and plush woodgrain interiors with sound deadening panels. I believe porsche, audi, bmw, and Lexus make vehicles more your style.
This SUV was targeting a different audience of buyers

Not worried about the plastic, it will outlive all of us. I wanted a Bronco, but like the look and height of the Sport better. Would I have liked a Range Rover? F yeah, but at the time I ordered (Dec 2021) I could buy Three Bronco Sports for the price of one Range Rover. Very happy with my choice, in fact placed an order for a 2023 in Atlas Blue. I love the Velocity, but didn’t order three options that I now find I want. ?‍♀

When did you order?
Have you received a confirmation from Ford?
Ordered only went in yesterday. Long way to go. Had an order three weeks ago but had it cancelled.

Some folks have seen interior panels scratch easier then they expected. Mine has held up fairly well except one rear door panel got scratch from grand daughter. But I dont open that back door much so I dont see that scratch very often.

As far as looks I think interior in mine looks awesome love it.

I didn’t buy it to keep it perfect for a higher trade in value later. I bought it to drive and have fun with. So no.

Haha... I actually owned a 76 Cordoba...with the rich Corinthian leather...mine had the 400 in it and it would scoot for such a massive vehicle.

The Bronco Sport interior is my favorite part of the vehicle in terms of look, UI, and functionality.

But the materials themselves are "built Ford cheap." I'm not looking for luxury here, just durability. Hopefully I'm wrong about this, but I doubt this stuff will hold up with typical wear-and-tear. My 20-year-old Toyota interior is bland plastics but indestructible. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if environmental regs or "going green" (i.e. rebranding cost cutting) are responsible for this difference.
