Just wondering if anyone has mounted an iPhone on the Bronco Sport on the flat surface behind the center screen console? I was considering mounting it on the windshield on the bottom by the driver, but I would prefer the iPhone screen in the center. I like the Ram mount and not sure if the suction cup at 3.3” will fit on that flat surface. The other option is an adhesive tape to hold it down. What have members done to drive hands free if you want to have an app open while navigating on the OEM center console screen.

Double stick adhesive? Amazon?

It uses VHB, which I've used in oil exploration vibration equipment so it handle vibrations well. I have use windshield suction mounts and they never stay up. It's a double ball mount so they swing just like ram mount. The actual mounting is why I went with this, because it's a physical lock instead of squeeze tight like ram mount. The company is called Quadlock. I have them in my vehicles, and they make longer extensions if you want the phone in portrait view. I will get a picture with the phone mounted.

Route I took. Needed a few velcro dots to secure it (the fuzzy side), but really happy with it.

What about wireless charging with that case. And please do not say I can just remove the phone from the case? I usually have the phone in a pocket so another reason I did not like that mount when I first saw it. I am leaning towards a ram style and just screw the ball nount down. As a former trucker sunction cups and adhesive sucks in the long run for rough conditions.

I can wireless charge with the case. They actually sell a mount that is a wireless charger itself. I have a Samsung but they're Mag Safe (Apple) compatible. The current model of case that I use has a magnetic which I really appreciate.

I'm using quadlock case with wireless charging sticky mount. I have wireless charger and vibration dapener on my motorcycle so it's a nice universal system with phone case. I have a pixel though. I know quad lock actually makes a maglock mount and partnered with someone to have a wireless apple car play adapter as well. I'll switch to iphone when they go USB -C.

This is what I have. Fits right next left of the screen perfectly. You would want to get a quadlock mag case then the mag wireless charging head.

Not trying to pimp quadlock but I've had the mount on my motorcycle for a couple years now and it's been solid. The vibrations dampener has also allowed my phone camera lens and focuser to stay undamaged.
