But it does depend on engine power. It's power that's otherwise wasted out the tailpipe, but it's power nonetheless. It's the same kind of energy that powers a turbine engine. It was genius to realize the energy wasted out the exhaust system could be used to power a compressor.

Which is the very definition of a non-passive device.

In some Heavy trucks From Volvo and Scania, they have a system named "turbo compound".

these trucks have "two turbines" in the exhaust .... The first is connected to the compressor (regular turbo) ... after that, there is a second one, that is connected to some reduction gears and sends power directly to the crackshaft ..... A way to use the thermal energy in the exhaust gas until its limit!!!

One other consideration I like to do is that the turbo is nothing more than a thermal machine that uses another thermal machine (the engine) as its combustion chamber to provide power, hehehe

Do you have an update about how this went? Looking to make this my next MOD and will most likely be installing myself (with help, if it would be easier for two people). TIA

I bought them from dennis-carpenter.com. They were a rivet install but I did not want to drill a hole so I cut the posts off and then filled the back in with epoxy. Once it dried I sanded it flat and cut out a flat sheet of 3M automotive tape to match the emblem.

You should be able to get these from Ford now as they are making them for the Heritage Unlimited Sport.

Correct you can get the heritage emblems now but there's a difference between the 1966 style and the 2023 heritage style. The new ones are plastic chrome and smaller.

Installed the hood insulation that Ford left off my '23 OBX. The correct part # is M1PZ-16738-B 1X. The cost at my dealer was $202.42. It only took 3 days to get. Perfect fit with attaching clips with it. Simple 10 minute DIY project.
