Your post is not very clear.

I don't understand why your new BS has been sitting for 2 weeks at the dealer.

1. Did you receive a notice or other communication from Ford for the injector recall?
2. Are you concerned about driving the BS unless the recall is performed?
3. Were you notified by Ford to bring your BS to the dealer to get the recall performed?
4. Did the dealer service writer or manager tell you the status of the recall repair parts?
5. Did the dealer service writer or service manager tell you to not to drive the BS and leave it at the dealer until the recall fix is performed?

Did you see this:

https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/recall/recalls-and-faqs/bronco-sport-escape-fuel-injector/
1) No, not at all.
2) yeah im not gonna drive til they fix it. Smells like strong gas fumes from engine going thorugh A/C
3)No, I had to bring it in myself after noticing smell.
4)yes, status of part needed is on back stock.
5)yes they told me to leave it until they can get the part in.
additionally they gave me a 22/ explorer XLT rental to drive in meantime. but its not my baby bronco i miss n love

So are you waiting on an actual fuel injector? Or the recall parts?

The recall part is only a drain tube and a ecu update.

Run the vin yourself to see if it's listed for the recall or not.
I ran the vin when i got it and it said no recalls with a promising thumbs up lol. Now i brought it in for the gas smell coming from engine and through the A/C. Im just waiting on the fuel injector itself they told me. with no ETA

Just to be clear, are you actually in the shop for a defective injector or simply waiting for the recall replacement?
My recall notice on my 21 basically says wait til you hear further about parts being available. I read that there have been about 20 fires. Suggest you sniff your hood for gas fumes reguarly and go about your business for now.
yeah no mines in the shop since the 10th of February cause the smell of gas was so strong from the engine it came in through the A/C. I legit have no idea what to do as it is now the 18th day in the shop with no update or ETA on when a fuel injector will come in.

This is a big deal. Selling a car subject to recall is illegal according to Federal law, not to mention immoral. If that's the case the dealership is subject to fines and civil claims. At the VERY LEAST, they should provide you with a car to drive while yours is unusable. If they haven't provided you a loaner I would give them a subtle hint you are considering seeking legal advice; that might prompt them to.

If you're not interested in driving a loaner car while you wait then you will have to wait until all the requirements of a Lemon Law claim are met. In most jurisdictions that means a minimum of 30 days in the shop for the same issue. Once you meet that milestone you will have a very good case.

If you can afford it I would highly recommend you seek legal advice if you decide to go the Lemon Law route. One might have the knowledge (or leverage given you were apparently sold a vehicle subject to recall) to expedite the process.
thanks a million Mark S.. So yeah its the 18th day in the shop now, they have been paying for my rental car (22 Explorer XLT) which does the job nicely however im quickly loosing patience. What should I do after the 30 day mark? A legal guy I talked to says the lemon law process could take up to six months in which case they might stop providing me with a rental once I start that and that would be a nightmare. I think Ford has me in a chokehold and theres nothing i can do until they make a fuel injector. The gas oder was so strong coming from the engine it came through the A/C. One of the lady's on the lot jokingly said i should of totaled it and blamed it on the fumes.. Doesnt seem like such a joke to me anymore lol

Also is there anyone I could call or they could call thats responsible for making the fuel injectors like what manufacturer can tell me when they are gonna make me one that works.. Just seems so ridiculous

Yeah i couldnt even drive it to work anymore. Gas coming from fuel injector was so strong fumes were coming through my A/C making me dizzy, Not the best in LA traffic. or any driving scenario. Thanks Ford! Still no ETA for when part could be made. 18th day no BS and still have to make monthly payments on it... While they pay for my rental

WOW ! So sorry brother. I least they're paying for the rental. I'd check out some of the solid advice here on the board that others gave you like having the dealer buy back the car etc. Good luck .

My recall was completed. No injectors were replaced. That is not part of the recall.
The recall is only a band-aid UNTIL and IF you have one or more injectors leak. Then they will replace them if the SUV didn't burn to the ground. Sucks but that's the facts.

You did the right thing bringing the BS to the dealer for the gas smell and the potential fire hazard it posed.

Unfortunately Ford seems to be using the majority of parts sourced or otherwise to build new vehicles and letting down existing customers requiring parts for warranty repair or parts in general. It would be interesting to know how Ford distributes its parts to dealers, does the squeaky wheel dealer get parts first or does the dealer that sells the most product and how will Ford get ahead of this latest recall challenge.
I don't believe a software update and venting raw fuel to the ground if their is a leak to be a viable solution.

someone bove says there have been fires from it though and i dont wanna risk that. smells like very strong gas fumes from engine
I don‘t wanna sound pushy, but that’s what insurance is for. If you can smell it then ya I probably wouldn’t drive it either. But I have never smelt anything from mine so I just keep on trucking.

My advice to OP is to do nothing until the dealer or Ford does something. Right now OP is in a rental at no cost. As long as OP is in a rental at no cost, I would do nothing. If dealer pulls the rental I would file for lemon law after you meet your 30 day.

here is my logic. As long as the dealer is supplying a rental, OP has a car to drive. Just because the dealer is supply a rental, that does not prevent OP from filing for lemon law if vehicle meets their state requirement. So, why rock the boat and risk losing your free rental car. I'd milk the fat cow until the milk runs dry.

You clock has started for lemon law. So, the only harm in waiting once you meet the requirements is a little more time. Filing immediately once you meet the requirements could find you footing the bill for the rental which could get very expensive very quickly. And, you would still be obligated to make car payments (if financed) while your case is being adjudicated.

Other than a PITA, I don't see the downside to letting this play out.

Feel like this was some of the best advice that I needed to hear. Time to hit the pub for a pint and wait for all this to blow over!

To add to David's advice, you are in a rather unique position given your dealership sold you a car subject to a recall. As noted, that's a huge no no for them, and it's likely the reason they are being so generous with the loaner.

Right now the cards are all in your favor, so if you can stand the wait I would wait.
