2021 BS
I’m starting to feel that the BS does not refer to Bronco Sport.
From the first day of purchase (08/21), the Front Plate Weatherstrip was defective.
Now, it detached from the Front Plate and must be replaced. Seems to be a bit of confusion with Ford as to M1PZ-7851916AC and
M1PZ-78502D58-A. Websites have confused these part numbers and even show different descriptions. I believe the weatherstrip cannot be purchased separately and is only available as a kit with the Front Panel. A $1.00 piece of rubber and the dealer is forced to replace a perfectly good Front Panel just to replace a piece of rubber.
I don’t dislike the BS but the more time I spend with the vehicle, the more I find the build quality disappointing. From a design perspective, it is clear Ford’s priority was cost over quality.
