On my '23 OBX I have changed the brake and back-up lights to LEDS. They are working fine with no problems. The last bulbs left to convert are the rear turn signals. My only concern is hyper-flashing. Has anyone changed these over to LED yet? Have you had any problem with hyper-flashing?

I haven’t changed mine but there’s several threads about it. There are ones available to avoid hyper flash.

Purchase the correct bulbs as mentioned in other posts and you'll have no problems! Easy change.

or you can disable hyperflash using Forscan.

Just curious. The rear lights on a car are meant to alert cars behind you that you're braking and/or turning. The backup lights provide illumination when in reverse. The current incandescent lights seem quite adequate to accomplish those tasks. Why go to the trouble and expense of changing them?

Any bulb that is not normally lit, like a turn signal, the LED comes on a little faster and doesn’t have that increase in brightness that an incandescent does. So an LED will be seen faster than an incandescent. Every 1/100 of a second equates to feet of distance when someone is being notified what you are doing.

That is providing the idiot in front of you has functioning brake lights and or uses their directional signals.

Makes sense. Thank you.

I installed these and have had no hyper flashing issues.

For reference it states they don’t fit my Sport but they did just fine.

I take it in NC, they use turn signals to notify you they are turning? Seems to be unheard of here in Wisconsin.

The internet is full of answers.
I always forget to search every YouTube video applicable to any Ford vehicle for forscan instructions that may or may not apply to a Bronco Sport. And in this case it’s an applicable YouTube video for the F-150. Nice, Thanks !

Sometimes, not always. On the good side, if you come to a busy intersection, someone will stop and wave you in. Also, in my subdivision, everybody waves at everybody. When you pass someone in the street or on a walking trail, everyone says hello. We've been in NC for almost 20 years and, having come from NY, I can attest to the fact that Southern folks are definitely friendly.
