there's a guy with 235/80R17 '21 Bronco sport in reddit

will this work without issues?
Yes but you would have to trim the pinch welds on the fire wall and do some customization to the wheel well insert. There are youtube vids on how.

The HRG is awesome and trouble free. Installation is not bad but definitely need a variety of tools and some mechanical knowledge. Check out the Install on YouTube. They make it sound easy though

OK, My Bronco Badlands has it's production pushed back to 11/21 (which was the original date), anyway, I'm continuing to "window shop."

I'm still trying to come to grips with Wheels/Rims, specifically Offset.

I don't want to do anything too crazy as this will primarily be a daily driver, but I want to lift my Bronco Sport Badlands with an HRG Lift, and I want to outfit it with some aggressive off road tires for when I want to play.

I like it when tires project out from the side of the car about an inch. Originally I looked at some Warmonger CUV Wheels/Rims with a +35mm Offset, and was told that that would bring the street side face of the wheel in toward the car 3 mm.

Does that mean the Bronco Sport Badlands rims are +32mm offset?

Can anyone share the wheel/rims that the Bronco Sport Badlands is outfitted with? Or if it isn't something that can be linked can you share the specs?

Much thanks,

F

Whoever told you that a 35mm offset would bring the wheel face in, was wrong. The stock wheel offset is +38 which means the mounting face is offset from the center plane of the wheel by 38mm. The “+” means the face of the wheel is closer to the mounting surface, which is the sort of weird thing logically but that is the way it is. You can do some playing around on willtheyfit.com.

Thanks Meanderthal, that now makes sense. I think I just mis-read your previous post in this thread. Looking back at it and re-reading it it now makes sense. Just curious on what you are running on if you have link of photo/description.

Thanks! Right, the difference is most noticeable when you pull up next to another truck.

The nudge bar will be the next thing as it is sitting in my garage currently.

I'm not a fan of the shiny bolt fenders that I see most frequently. There is another style that looks pretty good (like just a larger version of stock) ...but I think that will come after new wheels.

I may go with a (minor) positive offset wheel and then get the fenders.
Check these out . 235/70/17 on stock first edition badlands .

The 70is fine ,I think that the245 might be an issue on left to right on the front wheel. After doing research with a few smarter than myself I decided on 235 width with no trimming of anyth.Been running for about 15 months now no problems. The key is to keep your true diameter to a 30 inch to a 30.1 or 2 actual. I went with Goodyear workhorse, perfect size. Good luck in finding your way , hope this information that you can apply.
