The bronco sports have a known weak point at the water pump. More than likely where it will be leaking. Take it to your local dealer though as advised since it will be warranty.
Do you have any evidence, TSB's ECT to verify this??

HMMM...good to know, i'm assuming the 1.5 and not the 2.0??
1.5l as far as I'm aware. In reality it seems rather isolated. Not sure if it will warrant a recall in the future here but we shall see.

There are none yet, but there has been more than a handful of people with water pump failures within 15,000 miles.
Sorry to only getting back to all the helpful reies now. Pops had to go to ER. Anyways... I called a different Ford dealer near by and got in for aug 3rd. I was worried after reading the coolant can leak into the engine or something and ruin the motor. That is a big fear I have. If this is even true. Idk . Worst is I can't see where the coolant is going . Just that it disappears while I'm driving . So I'll keep everyone posted August 3rd and thank you for the help. I've just been adding prestone . 50/50 . Hope that's ok ? I can look for the motorcraft one
In auto parts store tomorrow if that's ok . Thanks again.

Mixing coolant can be tricky. There used to just be "antifreeze". Then there were two. Now there are like a dozen and "Prestone" probably makes bottles of each. Whatever they end up doing as a repair will likely end up flushing and filling it. Just make sure to tell the tech what you mixed in and they can sort it out. It could even be what you used is the "same" as the Motorcraft.

Hello, John! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and locati on of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this concern. Thanks!
How do I send a private message ? Is it click on Ford Motor and start conversation ?

Mine goes from the full mark to the add mark at every 5,000 mile oil change. My Ford Dealer said it was normal to use some.

I say that is too much. I would be looking closely at the oil when you change it, or on the dipstick. If you see anything that is lighter brown and looks “foamy” then you’ve got big problems.

"My Ford Dealer said"
same credibility as a politician
regarding their advice
users exercise of discretion is strongly encouraged

I wish it was every oil change . I've had to add 3 times in the last month. We'll below rhe max mark. Roughly 2 inches below. So there's a problem somewhere. I think

1.5 vs. 2.0, but I think that's too much. Mine is 14 months old and I haven't added a drop of coolant. It's not on the MAX line, but it isn't far below. I don't see the add or full marks though.

The oil change before my most recent one they topped it off at the max mark. Last oil change they added as it was just below the center seam of the tank, not down to the low mark.
I’m nearing my next oil change and I put in about 12 ounces.
Again I was told it’s normal for this turbo engine.
I really doubt they’d let that slide if it was an issue.
Seems I’ve had other engines in the past that burned off a little water as time went by.

Mines been trouble free for 22,000 miles. If this gets worse and they blow me off I’ll trade it in on a 4x4 Ranger.
