Decided to try my own chat- first rep said I needed to call the marketing team? Oh well. Second rep gave me some interesting details… they said they had no other information immediately available to them. I feel like it’s unlikely to be in this timeframe (shipping to Des Moines, IA), but optimistic for a soon to come ship date.

I tried the chat today too. Finding it less helpful. They told me that it was still “In Production with a delivery ETA of 7/28-7/31. Just Like you, find it hard to believe if it’s still “In Production”.

Had a couple weeks shut down. It seems like it takes forever, it's been a mess the last two years....hang in there, it's worth it when it arrives.

I’m hoping for July 23rd for you and Aug. 5th for me to take possession (although I know things have to be done at the dealership, too).

I’ve seen posts from people whose vehicles are still listed in production but are actually already at the dealership. Maybe it’s a data entry issue/lack of oversight? Maybe they are actually built and shipped?

If you have module data it's almost surely built.

Was that your delivery date maybe?
hm...I don't know. I didn't use the chat. I just called custom service. That person said it is shown in production and projected day of 7/22.....at that point, I wasn't able to think and react to anything...so i guess I assumed it was finish built date. That person kept talking and said I better check with the dealer and they know better and also use the tracking website.......blah blah.....

I guess It is possible that 7/22 could be projected delivery date since I'm much closer to Hermosillo than some of you. Kentucky can be a long train trip.

at this point, I guess I will wait for my dealer to contact me....or wait for the tracking app to update.

I sure hope you guys are correct....we have module data since Monday. my original scheduled built date was 7/2.

if the car was to scheduled to deliver to Kentucky as early as 8/5, I'd assume it is already built and passed QC and maybe even on a train already. Especially based on some conversation in the Waiting Room about train shipping time...

But, I have my doubt. So close...yet so far away.....

I’m going to go with the glass half full mindset at this point. I know there have definitely been people who got the built email after they already had their vehicle.

hah! Anyone else just get the email from Ford about updates? Seen similar ones from others, but not those in “In Production” status.

My favorite part is when they say “we want to give you and update” and then completely fail to do so, lol.

I’m assuming it’s just automated - but, is it just comical timing given I have module data and other progress, or an actual update about some unknown delay? What a mess.

I got the same email! I may reach out to the dealer tomorrow and see if they can pull a visibility report. What a rollercoaster!

It’s probably from the three chats and surveys where I mentioned that “communication” is the are one which they need to improve. Of course I specifically said the lack of detail I communication is the problem.

i got one, too.

I would say it’s because it’s been 45 days since the last email from them, but I got the last email on 6/15.

I just got off of the phone with Ford customer relations. I relayed the information about receiving the letter this morning regarding delays, my vehicle appearing on my FordPass and that it’s still showing in production on line. The representative looked up the vehicle and said my sport was to be delivered at my dealer between8/8-8/14. That’s in NE PA. So quite a haul. There may be a cyber orange light at the end of the tunnel after all??

Not that I really trust Ford right now, but from what we are all hearing it seems as though someone forgot to hit the “Built” button for July 4th.
